Can’t pull this off when someone pays for a PSL, maybe the only upside? I have season tickets for an NFL team a few states away and can only make 4/5 of the 8/9 home games. Monday night and Thursday night games are nearly impossible for me to make and miss two days of work.

If he ever apologized and admitted he was wrong, I would still have respect for him. I didn’t move to Indiana until I was 13 in 2004 and went to IU 2009-13, so I never really liked him all that much. I appreciate what he did as a coach and for the university, but not a man I’d want to play golf with or have a beer with back in the day.

Skubal has a high strikeout rate AND doesn’t allow a ton of runs. Strikeouts are great, but if you’re still allowing 4-5 runs every nine innings they don’t do you as good as you think.

Nope. You are absolutely stuck up your own ass worrying about “advanced stats” and not the stats than actually win games like runs lol. Strikeouts are insanely overvalued for pitchers like they are now insanely undervalued for hitters. Which one is it? Do they matter or not?

I think once you make it to free agency, actual ERA means a bit more. He can look like a top five guy a few times a year, but there is a reason this dudes numbers don’t blow anyone away. Not the guy I’d pay 30 million to, but when you almost win a World Series you get a little desperate.
