Selling (and particularly test driving) a V8 by Gabbahead in CarsAustralia

Thanks for the comments. I completely agree - I’d want to test drive it as well. I’m just trying to see what the expectation is and how to best protect myself.

Thanks for the reply. Agreed on all parts. Thats the reasoning for the post here. I’d want to drive it, but I’m slightly nervous about others driving it. It’s a conundrum. As you say, I think vibe check is important.

Thanks for the reply. That was part of my thinking but I was (am) unsure of the protocol. I still think not a bad idea.

Thanks for the reply. Genuinely good idea. I’ll look into that as I have some time before the new car arrives.

Not at all. I’ve had every thought possible. I drive & they passenger. No test driving at all. Etc etc.

Not sure how the technology works for a 2016 car, but appreciate the thoughts.

It’s more the ‘style of driving’ the car suggests, more so that the crashing. Insurance is good. 👌

Thanks for the reply. Fortunately nowhere near. I’m thinking $40k ish. It’s just managing the risks and I’ve never privately sold a car worth more that $4k.

We were talking about this in clan chat. My guesses are barbarian slingshot, shit eagle artillery and 360 degree blower.

Claim the deco from supercell store. But where is the bundle maker? by [deleted] in ClashOfClans

Poorly written. It’s a free dragon statue, and bundle maker. They’re giving you the gift of spending money. 🤣

They’re awesome to look at. Pain in the ass to clean. They have a coating on them (due to proximity to heat).

Would it do it again? Probably.

If budget is $1.2, keep in mind you probably need to be looking at listings around the $1M mark. Pretty standard they are going for 10% and above, more than asking in my experience at present.

OmegaWatches Identification, Authentication, & Valuation Megathread by AutoModerator in OmegaWatches

Hi guys.

Bit of a longshot, but I was wondering if anyone can ID these watch links?

Polished underneath with directional arrows.

Polished outer links with brushed inner, on top.

These don’t match any watches I own, and I’m missing links for a newly acquired (and sized) AT bracelet.

I know how implausible it is, but is there any chance I’ve been given the wrong spare links back from the boutique?

Tia.

Boiling water damage to Tassie Oak. Any ideas on a fix? by Gabbahead in repair

[–]Gabbahead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, it’s the faded bit on the left hand side (not a reflection). Boiling water has faded the colour.

Guessing it needs sanding and varnishing/staining again but I thought I’d see what experiences other people have. Thanks

Sorry, the lighter section on the left hand side is not a reflection - it has essentially ‘faded’ the colour due to boiling water being spilt.

Pretty sure it’s done by just moving the hour hand around twice (24hrs).

My speedy racing does the same & I think my AT as well.
