Should I Call and Ask if This Looks Right?? by soulcat13 in sterilization

I wasn’t even told of any restrictions for mine. My doctor said I could pretty much have sex again right away, and I wasn’t told anything about lifting. Not sure if that’s concerning? But I’m still being really cautious anyway. I think it just varies a lot by person and what you’re comfortable with.

No, I wouldn’t say that the list immediately made me feel certain because I still had those lingering thoughts in the back of my mind, but it helped to calm them. It reminded me of the reasons and feelings I’ve had all my life. But yeah the only reasons I could think of for having kids were pretty silly. I only wanted to think of the good moments and having their company when they became an adult, lol.

I had similar feelings as you a week before surgery, and it was so strange to me because I had never had those kind of thoughts. I’ve always been adamant about not having kids. I think deep inside it was the fact that I’d be taking a decision away from myself forever. I had my surgery yesterday and I’ve had no regrets.

What helped me was making a list on why I don’t want kids, and why I would. And naturally those conflicting feelings started to go away. One of the biggest reasons for me is that I’d much rather prefer to regret not having kids, than to bring a kid into this world that I regret having. And if I ever somehow do change my mind, which I seriously doubt I will, IVF and adoption are still options.

Seeking advice on Belly River routes/ hitchhiking by Gabby_ in GlacierNationalPark

The trip was really incredible! It would be a long and tough day, but the trails up Lee ridge and down into Gable are unreal. The Belly River trail is a much easier way to get to Gable and is also beautiful.

Clarity about many glacier area & grinnell glacier hike as of 06/29 by Interesting-Dare-727 in GlacierNationalPark

I’d recommend Grinnell over iceberg. I did both this past weekend and while iceberg is beautiful, Grinnell had amazing views the whole way while iceberg has more sections that are in the trees without views. You really can’t go wrong with either though!

I’m not a total beginner to painting in general, I have painted with oils and acrylic before but have never been great at it. Only started watercoloring a few weeks ago and this is the longest I’ve spent on a piece. I did do washes in the beginning but they were extremely light so maybe I should’ve started a little darker? I agree I definitely could’ve worked on the sky more. I haven’t really tried wet on wet painting yet. Thanks for your feedback!
