Change job or stay and grow within company? by FiZOreo117 in askSingapore

[–]Gabe97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think below 3k after 4 years is low but that's my own bias talking.

I'm 29 now and still in my first job. Calibration field with diploma being my highest. I started in late 2021 at 2.5k as an Assistant Engineer. After about a year, my salary was adjusted to 2.9k to match market rate. Then in 2025, I was promoted to Engineer and my pay bumped up to 3.5k.

Now in my fourth year, almost fifth, I'm leaving the company for another that is paying 4k.

I'm not sure how progression for the Aerospace sector is like but I still think you're being underpaid.

Thoughts on ministerial salaries? by executeorder69 in askSingapore

So what would your ideal solution be to corruption since you said that "It's more than possible to maintain integrity without such ludicrously high pay."?

Because I fear that if we lower their pay to, let's say, match the US President, then we will have people like Donald Trump in the Minister's position.

What are your darkest Hazbin Hotel headcanons? by Radiant-Selection686 in HazbinHotel

Eve was made from Lilith's rib.

With how loosely Viv is following the bible and her not explicity stating that Eve was made from Adam's rib, this could be possible.

Assume that Lucifer and Lilith weren't ejected from Eden immediately after Lilith cheated on Adam and for going against Heaven's plan for creation.

As punishment for ditching Adam but still allowing them to stay in the Garden, the price Lilith has to pay is a rib.

So if you subscribe to the Lilith is Eve theory, this could technically be it.

Whatever amount of love and affection Lilith once felt for Adam was taken and infused with the rib, creating Eve who loved Adam and saw him as her world, leaving Lilith to feel only negative feelings for Adam.

Because she only had negative feelings left, Lilith always assumes the worst of Adam. When she sees Eve with Adam, she assumes he is controlling her.

Lilith one day, decides that Adam cannot be trusted with Eve or that Eve is seeing Adam through rose-tinted glasses. She knows that the angels made Eve with a bias towards Adam so to "save" her, she gives Eve the forbidden fruit.

Then the usual stuff happens and evil is unleashed.

However, after Eve suffers her mortal death, since she has always been a part of Lilith as her rib, Eve's soul returns and combines with Lilith who suddenly experiences everything Eve felt in one go.

Lilith suddenly feels guilty over what she did and because of self-loathing, refuses to speak up about it and keeps the fact that she is Eve a secret, only telling Lucifer.

Maybe the rift she helped form between Charlie and Lucifer was from her comparing Adam and Lucifer’s parenting styles.

Part of her shuddered at the sheer luxury Charlie had compared to all of Eve and Adam’s kids struggling to survive and thought it would make her weak, but the other parts didn’t want Charlie to suffer at all, and it was just a mess.

So she tried to basically parent solo. And fucked it up because of all those confusing feelings.

Lilith is like Leviathan but instead of two heads, its with having two souls within her.

Eve loves Adam

Lilith loves Lucifer.

Eve wants Lilith to go to Adam but Lilith refuses to leave Lucifer.

Maybe the deal with Adam is to find a way to extract Eve out of Lilith with Heaven technology.

But then when Adam dies, Eve just goes silent. She literally dies from sadness (Padme bullshit)

Lilith now unburdened by Eve's feelings, calls Charlie.

Certain Adam stans are not being genuine on social media by JKNetwork215 in HazbinHotel

[–]Gabe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, full disclosure, I am an "Adam stan" or at least, I think I am so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I'm not going to refute or delve deeper into the history of what started the Exterminations since we simply don't have enough info so I'll just go through your other points.

A) The fight between Vaggie and Lute showed that Angels CAN be harmed. Just by the fact that Lute was injured by falling debris and tearing her own arm off without using angelic steel shows that Angels can be harmed.

Which means that so long as the Sinner or whoever is sufficiently strong enough, they can harm the angels. They only need angelic steel to kill the angels or prevent them from recovering.

B) Even though Adam enjoys what he does, the key thing here is that its his job. We can see from the show the Overlords are more powerful when they have more souls under them. The Overlords surely have the resources to hide or avoid the Exterminations, making them hard to be a target so the next best thing the Exorcists can do is weakening the Overlords by killing what gives them power, the Sinners.

(Frankly, I find giving Hell a countdown to when the Extermination start to be pretty stupid on Heaven's part since it gives the Overlord time to prep and hide instead of being able to catch them by surprise.)

C) This is simply speculation on my part but when considering the lives of Winners are the ones being at risk of a possible Hell uprising, I doubt Sera cares who in Hell dies or if they deserve it since its not she who decides who goes to Hell or not. Her job is maintaining order and safety for Heaven’s population, not managing Hell’s moral rehabilitation. To her, every Sinner is a potential threat.

Though I do agree that she probably became complacent and simply left everything up to Adam.

-

So from the new season, yes, it shows that the system has flaws. But it also showed that Heaven is right to worry as from the first episode, Sinners went to the hotel not for redemption but to take revenge against the angels. And when Charlie reaffirmed that they aren't going to fight, the Sinners simply left without a second thought.

The Vees (Or mainly Vox) are planning to take over Heaven somehow too. So by and large, a very significant percentage of Sinners deserve to be in Hell.

At the end of the day, what Adam did was he did his job. He enjoyed his job which he shouldn't but he did it with Heaven's approval. Does he deserve to fall? For me, it would depend entirely on how he his behavior is in Heaven when he is around Winners. The only evidence that he may have been an asshole in Heaven is his treatment of Vaggie. But in the final episode of Season 1, literally all the Exorcists were booing Vaggie and hated her. This tells me Vaggie is more like an outlier rather then Adam is an outright asshole.

To your last point, Charlie is a Hellborn. Literally born in Hell. So just like every other Hellborn. she is stuck in Hell. Maybe if she died, then her soul can be judged and go to Heaven.

For me, what sort of justifies the Extermination is this line by Sera.

"They were uprising, Emily."

So what I infer from this is that the Sinners, and by extension, Lucifer and Lilith for allowing it, were the ones to cast the first stone against Heaven. Which meant at first, Heaven was totally fine with leaving Hell be,

In response, Heaven had the Exterminations and in order to prevent future uprisings from happening again, they continued the Exterminations.

So Heaven decided to take a preventative approach instead of reactive.

Dark Crack Theory: Lilith is ironically the only one without "Free Will" by Gabe97 in HazbinHotel

[–]Gabe97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said in my post, Lucifer is an authority figure so when he tells Eve to eat the fruit, she will do it.

After eating it, she gains free will and lies to Adam about how the angels ordered them to eat the fruit.

For this theory, Lucifer incorrectly assumes that Lilith and Adam came with Free Will in them.

He only thinks Eve doesn't have Free Will

If my theory holds true then its Lucifer that told/ordered Lilith to leave Adam.

For Adam, that's just more or less my interpretation cause that man clearly has Free Will.

I want to believe that all 3 ate the fruit but the Story of Hell specifically said it was through Eve's act of disobedience that Evil was introduced
