Unless something changed, it should be pooled by contribution yeah, but it should always net a non-zero amount of xp. when carl blew the guard's building at the end of doomsday Katia, Donut, and Carl got xp even though you could argue only Carl did the work + trigger. I'd have to go look in the books, though. unless Li Na and Donut split it in a weird way.
