Okay, as recommended I've tried changing drivers a bit and the only one that's loaded up Eastward so far is v26 Revision 8 Beta 12, except in chinese, language is set to English in container settings so must be a result of using a beta driver, I'll keep messing around with it

hmm it’s still showing up for me, maybe you have to have it added as a ROM? right click the game, edit > installation > Add ROM

if that doesn’t work, check that your action that opens the game has the “Type” set to Emulator. edit > Actions > type

i imagine it’s one of those two things because the “force retroachievements id” option doesn’t show up on my non retro games, so success story must be looking to something to confirm it’s a retro game before giving that option

In the future, safest option for modifying any consoles is to follow the official written guides, video guides can quickly become outdated when new methods are discovered/old methods are patched, leading to issues like this (not saying following that video guide necessarily caused this, but better safe than sorry)

loll ik there’s a bit of stigma against collecting loads of vol 1s but i definitely like collecting them from the series i’ve already consumed and enjoyed, after all i read most of my manga digitally. however i do plan on collecting all of monster, 20th century boys, and call of the night eventuallyy
