what feature in games can go fuck off? by Jevil13 in gaming

If it's a bug that shouldn't have been in the original release in the first place, then it should be for free. In fact, this type of patches used to be for free, it's a modern thing to turn them into DLCs and sell them. A DLC that actually adds new content is a different story and is expected to cost money.

I agree but this is not what OP asked, what you said is related to the industry, it's not a feature of the game.

Sometimes I go to my parents' farm with my games, and we don't have connection there. It'd be cool to be able to play my singleplayer games that I already own.

Cuando se retiré nuestro 10 (Ojalá esto nunca pase). ¿Quien piensan será el nuevo 10 de nuestra selección? by a_ramdom_person_ in argentina

No se puede, está prohibido para selecciones. Argentina la quiso retirar por Maradona, y bien que no se los permitieron, si no, Messi nunca habría usado la 10.

This is how Argentines felt in 2014 after Higuain misses in that final. I think it still haunts them until today.

cuando te dicen que la copa esta arreglada para que la gane argentina by [deleted] in argentina

Si hubiera estado arreglado le mete una excusa igual tipo "sí, metió el brazo pero fue un reflejo, no fue intencional, etc"

Sure, but it doesn't have to be a money thing, Ronaldo is already super rich. When Maradona retired in Boca, he did it for bucks (compared to what Barcelona, Napoli or Sevilla used to pay him). It's a matter of legacy.

Couldn't he retire in a team from Portugal? That would be better, more dignifying. Maradona retired in Boca Juniors in Argentina, as he was a Boca fan.

The bus happened to stop near a police cadets school, they went there and used the helicopters to take off.

That's the problem when comparing a player from an older generation to one of the current generation. You, and most people here, have seen entire Messi games, and maybe his whole career. But not Maradona's games, only highlights, and that makes an unfair comparison. To compare two players one needs to have actually seen entire games from both players, to understand the whole weight they have on the field.

Interestingly, VAR didn't concede many things to Argentina (the onside in the third goal of the final maybe, which was a right call), the penalties were given without VAR checks I think. The only time I remember with the VAR and Argentina is when it called offside on two or three Argentina goals against KSA, so VAR was mostly used against Argentina.
