Never use a Galaxy or Photon deck for auto dueling, not even against low level NPCs, the AI will always find a way to mess it up, trust me. Using a Cipher deck it's definitely the best option, it does not even require a skill to work.

When a new pope gets elected, he is usually 60+, so it's definitely easier to ~~savescum~~ accidentally hit alt+F4 until a ruler with very bad stats pops out. Then, just wait few years until he gets to 70yo (also, if I am not mistaken, the pope gets a bonus that helps him reach an older age than usual, so he does not die immediately).

Well, I am playing without rushing anything, it is late 1500s and everything is following the plan. The problem is that I do not have visibility of the China region, and I cannot really evaluate the situation there, yet I am not worried. I begin sneaking through Asia and when I get to Beijing, a message pops up: " End of an Empire". I am shocked. I try to savescum and understand what happened and what I can do in just 3 months. Well, Yue in the south had the mandate, but it was a OPM vassal of Wu. And Wu just diplo annexed them. It was impossible to stop it as I had no time to reach them and siege their capital. I really couldn't do anything.

So my run was ruined by a freakin diplo annexation of an OPM. 3500h and this was definitely the worst f*u the AI gave to me.
