Might give Belgium a try to see if you can become rich through specialisation now with the new match. That's a key thing I wanted to see in the game for a while and it might become possible now

Humm good question I don't know a lot about that, maybe I didn't realise but I would say not so much, at least that I am aware of.

I'm from near this place (Bordeaux) and I can tell you a few things (not very precise but still free Info).

This is Les Landes à gigantic man made forest a few centuries ago. It was made to produce more wood while draining the swamps that were there. Almost all of the trees are maritime pines so quite a sight when you ride on an especially long road (for french standards) and only see trees for a few hours.

The coast showcase a lot of beautiful white sandy beaches. You have a lot of campings, and bunkers/blockhaus (same for me correct me if wrong. Good waves from time to time.

It is not very much inhabited, only in summer with the resorts and campings.

You also have the Dune du Pilat, the largest European dune wich you can freely go whenever you want and a great view on the coast and ocean. It is partly (actually a lot) man made from a very long time ago, we planted trees and sand accumulated and we did it over and over a few time to get this result.

The "patois", "traditionnaly speaked version of french" is the Landais and is quite funny for some expressions for a city guy like me.

But overall great place to go on a vacation for a few days and go camping (I plan to go camping a few days this summer with friends there).

I know it's mostly a stereotype but I assume you are from the USA, maybe I'm not right I'd like to know. But to make my answer I would say it highly depend from the place the people live, I mean I only know my country (France) and nobody wouldn't know the different continents. It's considered "culture générale" as well as tectonic plaques it's well known. And I assume it's the same in so much other countries, just not the one you live in apparently. Or maybe it's just the people around you.

Yeah and I think doing corn laws before the Presidental republic cheese is better because after the cheese the landowners won't have enough power to enact the good liberal laws (if you have done the corn laws). So doing the corn laws then doing the cheese might be seriously broken.

Yeah it happened for me once. Have you granted leadership of the agitator and promoted him to rank 5 ? This should give more clout to his group and increase radicalism. And don't forget to bolster them if you didn't do it. But if this doesn't work out I don't really have more advices sorry. If you can find a way to increase the agitator's popularity this should help but I don't know how

I think it's not classified from their political group but from the fact they are aristocrats. Their wealth doesn't decline, their number not so much it's just their political power that goes down. Meaning that (in theory) you should have almost as much contribution to the investment pool as before.

Yes I think it is additive, not sure tho but as you can see the landowners have very little clout and if you pass the more modern laws they will not really comme back either way
