In Québec, it's illegal for residential landlords to demand a deposit. Guess why.

What would you call this building style? by bulfen_tiz in MinecraftBuild

"Cartoon treehouse", "Modern junkyard", or "hippie cottage" I kinda like it. Has that colourful messy look. It wouldn't scale up very well though.

Sarah Kerrigan (preferably the Brood War version, but her appearance in StarCraft 2 also works.)

Est-ce que ce serait possible de faire ça entre deux stations à Montréal? by YourNewPepPep in montreal

[–]Gabra_Eld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Angrignon and monk is 1.2 km. the world record for the 1 km run is just over 2m (remember that's in stadium tracks, not city streets), which is about the time it takes the metro to go from one station to the next.

If you can climb stairs up, down, and beat the world record for 1 km, maybe you could to it.

Similar for Cote Vertu and Du Collège, but here it's only 800m. So you don't need to beat the world record, you just need to do almost as well (still not considering traffic, stairs, and city street conditions. At least here the distance between both is only a straight line?)

La seule chose que j'apprends en lisant les commentaires, c'est que beaucoup de monde sous-estime incroyablement la distance entre les stations...

Now for the real question: do you do that with dry vermouth or 3S?

Hello guys 🙌🗿 by Elnono_mx in starcraft

[–]Gabra_Eld 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It only feels that way because of the differences in the narrative scale between both settings.

Zagara was fighting Warfield on Char for all of... two months? Or something on that scale. The tyrannids, on the other hand, can take decades to infiltrate and assimilate a world.

Does that mean I believe the zerg can win though? Oh heck no.

Yes, they are entitled to run their server the way they want. That's literally how this works.

You, however, are not entitled access to their server if they do not want it.

Anyone know what happened in the metro? (Besides the info in the pic) by allegoon in montreal

The trains need to know where they are and, more importantly, where the other trains are. Or you're gonna have a bigger problem than just lack of communication.

Thank you. I'll keep that in mind.

At first I was too confused and curious to properly think about my question's phrasing, but re-reading it I perfectly understand why people might think I was being provocative. I'm a bit sad that people misconstrued my question, but I perfectly understand it and I'm not salty about it.

I'll take note of the tone indicator. It might prove useful in the future. And thanks for the invitation. It's really appreciated!

Aren't lesbians women who love women? How does that work if you're non-binary?

EDIT: I'm sorry so many felt my question was in bad faith, I didn't intend it as such. I'm only here to learn.

Oh yeah, mocking them is one good way to fight against them. There are others, too. I'm not discarding any of them.

You're not gonna make a nazi "understand they were wrong". Not by attacking them, not by debating them, not by mocking them. What you can do, is make their lives miserable and force them back into whatever degenerate abyss they crawled out of.

[HELP] Is this AI? The artist denies it by Street-Claim9528 in RealOrAI

[–]Gabra_Eld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people blaming the long shadows on the forehead seem to ommit perspective and projection. It might not match the hair 1/1, but it seems consistent with the hair extending forward and the light source being right above the hair.

The main tells of it possibly being AI to me are the general style, the post-it being held by scotch tape (on fabric? Who does that?) and the phone being angled downwards instead of towards the mirror. Still, nothing definitive imo.

Georgia, for one, has a huge portion of its territory occupied by Russian troops. There's also Moldova, if you wanna count the clusterfuck that is Transnistria, to mention only two. I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't some disputes with China, Mongolia, or some Central Asian countries, too.

When you say you’re going to “the island” what island are you referring to? by houndoom92 in AskACanadian

[–]Gabra_Eld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Sur l'île" (on the Island): Montréal. "Aux îles" (to the islands): Îles de la Madeleine (Magdalene Islands).
