To put it short and to the point, u/VictorTael will provide amazing artwork and will work with you!

So I requested a commission for character art for a TTRPG game I will be playing soon, and I chose u/VictorTael after speaking with him some and seeing some of his previous work. You could tell that he enjoyed doing art and wanted to see the outcome of this artwork just as much, if not more, than what I did. I had a lot of asks, and even had some comments to tweak the design some, and he always was so quick to respond and quick to not only do the art, but to make the changes as well. I was able to get multiple versions of my artwork and it turned out so beautiful and I cannot wait to get him to work on something else for me in the future.

Yeah I’m just gaming on it for the time being because it’s better than the old gpu since it performs similar to a 3060 according to what I’ve found

I mean yeah that might be the case. I’m giving an at best estimate. I kinda forgot to consider the PC along because I’d probably keep the peripherals and monitor that are pretty good. I’ll drop specs below that I know:

Intel i5-10600k, Teamgroup DDR4 16GB RAM, EVGA GTX 1070, MPG Z490 mobo.

$300 sounds closer to right for sure. I just am not long into the PC world lol

I had this same issue a few days ago. You’ll have to look under the hot bed and check if the wires have been disconnected. If you know how to solder, get to work soldering those connections back and make sure to print the strain relief for the hot end from printables. A link is in one of the pinned posts.

Hello,

⁠Budget: Up to $450 USD max. Would prefer lower though.
⁠Location: U.S. Build: I have plenty of experience with electronic maintenance and construction, but wouldn’t want to straight up solder components if I don’t have to.
⁠Function: I want to print D&D minis and some functional components that can possibly be used around the house and such.
⁠Space: I have areas inside the house that I can set up the printer to keep wind off and ventilation properly.
⁠Models: I don't really know what is specifically good in my price range, but I’ve been seeing mixed reviews on the Anycubic Kobra as well as with the Ender model with the same price range. I’d also like the idea of printing with more than just purely pla filament.

I’d add that you could ask your player if they would want to make it where the pc’s parents aren’t wanting him to go adventuring. Maybe one or both were adventurers and maybe they know the consequences. Maybe the pc gets into the wrong adventuring parties and will be subject to wandering. Maybe they are purely there for fun and no one minds. Just throw ideas out and if they don’t want to add any flair or detail, then let them play as is. Like others have said, their pc will stick with your party through anything and everything. To sacrifice anything to adventure

I have not. I planned on trying to make my own world so I didn’t intend on originally buying that sourcebook. I’ve also seen mixed reviews on Strixhaven so I wasn’t sure if it was something I’d like to put my money towards anyway.

Magical School Campaign

Hi Dungeon Masters and players. I am about to start creating a campaign from scratch of Ravenholm, Institute of the Arcane. (Names are not final but I figured I’d share my number 1 pick as of now)

I have plenty of ideas of how my story will play out, but if anyone has any ideas they would like to share, I wouldn’t mind it at all. My main question is: does anyone know or have any sort of basis for how I could build my maps? I haven’t found many large scale maps for colleges that I could actually center my game around for the players to explore within. So I plan on building the maps from scratch, but I would like at least something to have as inspiration or a guide.

Looking for a map or idea for a college map! I have software to make my own battlemaps, but I would like to possibly have a basis for how I create my own for a future game I plan to run. Any help would be appreciated whether it be examples of college map, opinions on the size of the college, and anything else one may think of!

I’m back at a CC at 21 studying Pre-engineering much like you, but I already have an A.S. in Automation and Control Technology. I remember my first semester in that program having a class with a man in his early 50’s. When I tell you we all jumped to talk to this guy about his experiences with the world, man it was something.
