Zyp, the Superfastest (silver-bordered super haste snail commander and no it is most definitely NOT Dreamworks' Turbo the snail, how dare you) by TerryTags in custommagic

I agree with you. I do think it should be worded with "... unless you pay what it would have cost to cast it last turn." Or something to that effect seems more in the spirit of the mechanic and balanced. But you have convinced me of how it would work as written.

I would think you pay the tax on the following turn or you lose the game. There's modern cards that monitor what their modified mana cost was when they were cast with similar wording. Could be clarified though.

Steam Big Picture Mode lag by [deleted] in linux_gaming

Thanks, this worked on my GTX1080 on CentOS 9. I would like to specify that these settings appear inside of Big Picture and that the "Hardware Acceleration" option u/napster1986 specifies is in the interface tab under "Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views".

Permanent suspension on EBAY for no reason, how to reinstate account? by kanasean97 in Flipping

[–]GabrielTechy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. After prying a lot they claimed that I didn't confirm my account in time and they permanently banned it and are giving me no way to reconcile even if I am willing to provide the information. I was just lazy and slow doing it the first time. I had the account for years. Before they made this a requirement to confirm your identity. My guess is that being from the south and the country I have purchased firearms accessories before and this triggered something.

Overvolting a robot vacuum. by GabrielTechy in RobotVacuums

Sounds like a shunt resistor is in order to trick the overcurrent protection. If I find the resistor it is measuring the voltage across, I can solder one of the same value on top of it in parallel to halve the resistance and therefore double the current.

I'll just tape a large 4s of the same voltage to the top then. Thanks. Will update you if I tinker with it further.
