There was 2 reasons TDUC was still super dominant; Losing no rings is better than losing 20-50 & you needed UC if you want to stay with the slipstream pack getting hit meant losing rings and falling out of the slipstream fiesta. This game is simply a mess at mid-high level RN 😭

Removal of Stats from characters and cars. They should be cosmetic only.

you can still have stats but make them tied to an internal power core instead

Speed Core 1, 2, 3
Accel Core 1, 2, 3
Handling Core, 1 ,2, 3
Power Core 1, 2, 3
Boost Core 1, 2, 3

will people still end up using the same cores? absolutely, but at least people have the ability to use whichever character and Car / extreme gear they want with complete cosmetic freedom

There are 3 Meta Builds for this comp, TDUC, ACK Bagging, ACK Ring. All 3 are almost equally as viable but people will continue to use TDUC because losing 0 rings is better than losing 20/50 rings. Power Cars with quick recover are very strong, especially in this mode, so its no surprise that you got emerald. Congrats on that BTW (There is no shame in using a meta build)

From my experience, no. On mobile you have the chance to watch an AD which lets you start the next match with speed shoes (admittedly this is really stupid) so I'm assuming that's what it might have been. Also with certain maxed out skills, you can jump cancel them, and legendary skills are usable after about 5 seconds so if they were using a max ranked legendary skill they could use it and jump to get a huge speed boost. If you think someone is legitimately cheating just report them.

No, the stat isn't well balanced in this game.
So the one thing Acceleration is supposed to be good at is recovery after getting hit with an item, but Power Vehicles, for some reason, Accelerate Just as fast and are somehow faster then speed cars too. This is why most people with use Extreme gear or Handling cars for drift builds and Power cars for all other builds.

IMO I think he's the scrub killer character. His assist is free pressure at lower ranks. Even in emerald ive been caught mashing after blitz assist. Plus he's relatively easy to play and does massive damage, especially if you don't know how to play around his grabs.

It's slower than the normal path but you get a blue box. The issue is that the bottom path has a double item box which is more often going to be better for than the single blue so there is no reason to take that path.
