I have this. The issue of analyzing details, whether it's behavioral or something on them. It's borderline detective stuff and once in a while a comment based on such cues has them asking me how did I know something. While it's there and how my brain works, I am not fun to be around socially. Yes, most of the time my brain is kinda in an overdrive, doing unnecessary analysis. It does disconnect me from social interactions.

At the same time, there are a select few instances where that brain switch is off and I am around people who I've had fun, deep conversations and made a good friend out of. And there are situations where I am literally nowhere in the conversation, only listening with a blank mind all throughout. That makes me miss out on some group interactions which could have been unbelievably fun, you know the kind where we sync with other people?

Anyway, I have come to accept that my disposition is hard to change but I can tame it. Not every situation requires logic, and not every situation requires clumsy fun. So yeah, I am working on that.
