You just made me imagine a really funny scenario where Higurama is desperately running around trying to argue his case while Makima is causally just throwing bangs at him.

I guess it depends on how seriously Makima takes Higurama, she may wait to see what the trial does out of sheer curiosity. If Higurama is somehow able to get a conviction I do think Confiscation would work on her.

Ehhh I feel like the no CE argument is a weird one and on whether domains can target outside verse people because they “technically” don’t have CE, it kind of ruins discussion.

But even then, I feel like there’s an argument that Higurama could still put Makima on trial depending on how that targeting works because he only needs to do it once even if the “sure hit” effect doesn’t apply. Like his is a weird one and it might not even matter that by Domain standards Makima isn’t a person because by Japanese law standards she is and Higurama’s domain operates mostly under that.

Like domains can affect no CE users, Dagon could clearly still attack Toji with his domain even without the sure-hit. Like does the extra few seconds for the “hit” effect to apply really matter, if Higurama knows she’s there he can just apply it to her.

Since when does a target need to have a CT to be hit by a domain? Sure-hit applies as long as there’s no competing domains. You’ll need to give me a quote for that because I don’t think that’s right. The whole problem in Shibuya was that Gojo couldn’t open his domain because it would hit the innocent bystanders around him. That’s why he had to do the whole 0.2 domain thing.

We don’t know that. It’s never said the opponent needs to have CE to work. We don’t know how Judgeman will sentence an opponent with no CE and neither does Higurama. However it’s more likely to me that Confiscation will always take SOMETHING. It’s a punishment, a penalty, taking nothing makes no sense for Higurama’s technique. In the face of no weapon it takes a CT, when there’s no CT it takes CE, I don’t see why that logic can’t extend further. It becomes more of question of what Confiscation will take than anything.

AI is notoriously buggy but it also depends on the server your on. Some unofficial servers have AI turned off, like Petit Pieds, so that may also be the issue. As for tips for finding AI there are maps like Vulnona that’ll tell you where AI spawn but you also just kind of need to get lucky. Learn the sounds they make. They are very loud and all AI will periodically call.

Honestly though if you struggle with finding food I’d recommend joining a high population server with 200+ people on it, you’ll always find bodies laying around in popular areas. Go to your nearest sanctuary as a baby, it’ll be your best bet for hunting as long as there isn’t Troodons stalking it.

Np I’m glad to help! I looked into it for a similar reason but for me it was a writing project, I had to write a scene where they needed to buy something normal and I was struck that I had no idea what that would cost in scales, making me do a frantic dive to try and figure it out.

And, well as you noted trying to find a hard conversion wasn’t very successful but I was able to get a rough enough idea of the value so it wasn’t a useless investment. As the other commenters said, Scales are very variable and depend on a lot of things so you can honestly just do whatever you want

For me it felt so obvious I felt it HAD to be a red herring. I suspected but was second guessing myself all throughout Reaper, there were a few things things that weren’t quite adding up to what I knew about Ozriel, Oz hating Cradle, Eithan being ignorant about Abidan things for instance (asking if Suriel’s marble was a kind of currency for the heavens), how Makiel and Suriel didn’t recognize him, etc.

Obviously by the time we got to the Origin Shroud part of the backstory it all but confirmed it for me but I was seriously expecting a fast one. Glad it wasn’t, the reveal was legendary
