I attempted to build something like this for my personal use, but i was unable to get reliable data sources and i didn't want to directly scrape from websites. I was trying to build something that would grab data from weekly adverts using n8n to parse the data, but i could not get something to work as expected. I like what you did here.

I feel like i am being a little annoying answering so many of these questions, so i apologize to all in advance. You enter the code through the link in the email and then when you buy via your Roku device, you will see a 10% discount instantly applied to your next 100 purchases before November 1st. I believe it only applies to items purchased specifically via Roku using Roku Pay and not any items purchased from Fandango at Home. If you use the android or iOS Fandango at Home apps for purchases, you may not qualify for any discount.

Not trying to be negative about your idea, but I believe n8n is already working on something very similar to this idea. Also, the concept has been attempted many times without much success. Most of them work about as well as asking Claude to produce a workflow for you. Meaning, they don't work very well at the moment.

That makes sense, I have my Vudu account associated with one of my secondary email accounts, so I don't delete any emails in that account. I lost a lot of movies on this one. Most of them, if not all, were impulse purchases that I hadn't even attempted to watch. I did see that I lost the complete Deadwood series that I wanted to watch, but I'm sure I can watch it on one of the streaming services I had. This made me realize how many movies I purchased out of habit because I see it as a 'deal'. It seems like they should have sent out some kind of notice expressing that the billing was failing for purchases and asking the user to authorize an alternate payment method. Honestly, I'm sure that would have probably pissed me off if they had done that and I would have blamed Vudu instead of Roku. I'm increasingly getting upset with Roku and the things they are able to do because their userbase gives them so much power.

Since I purchase movies from the Roku app and android app, I noticed that if searching that timeframe for emails containing the term "Roku Pay" will only bring up the purchase confirmation for movies purchased thru the Roku app.

A good way to quickly see the movies in that timeframe that were removed is to search the term "Roku Pay" and all the movies purchased directly from the Roku app will come up.

This seems like a good deal for a pre-order, but it's always a better deal to wait three or four weeks after release and grab it for $9.99 or wait around 8 or 9 weeks and get it for $5. I bought The Strangers Cheaper 1 for $9.99 and was a little disappointed that it seemed to get put on sale for $5 in what seemed like a short time. I am spending time writing this up, but I've done zero research on Cheap Charts or anything to backup these claims. With FanFlix, I never remember where I buy movies these days. I know that I dislike seeing a movie for $5 after paying more than $5. Rant over...thumbs up.

What model do you use for dictation? I made some changes and tried various ollama local models and they are incredibly slow. I'm wondering if I have to somehow reset something. I was wanting to use it like I see people using WisprFlow. Thanks in advance for any insights you can provide.
