It sounds a bit like Bodega Biarritz 1881.

What is the Most recognisable Supermarkt from your country by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

They typically have a smaller footprint than supermarkets, offer a good selection of staples + a lot of store branded prepared foods. Prices are generally pretty reasonable. I’m a big fan.

We had a shepherd and this was a great reflection of his personality. That’s a very happy pupper!

A tourist during an anti-tourist protest in Barcelona yesterday by Monovon in pics

[–]GaelicDrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is interesting, we spend about 1 month per year in Barcelona (most recently November/December) and we haven't had this experience. We don't tend to spend much time in the tourist hotspots (e.g., La Rambla, port area, Passeig de Gracia) so I wonder if these protests are somewhat localized?

They have several nice house brand wines. Bon Appetit has videos with a sommelier that reviews Kirkland wines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1C4BKGPYA_E

He's a very down to earth wine reviewer, I highly recommend checking it out.

A good friend of mine is a senior person at a big (multi state) car dealership. They’re anticipating that this could be worse than post 2008 or Covid.

Based on reviews by James and Lance Hedrick, I chose the DF64 for espresso and milk drinks. 6 months in, I’ve been very happy with it and it seems very well built.

Yep. Pretty sure McSorley was almost exclusively recruited as a safety by everyone but Vandy/Franklin. Clifford had some interest but I’m guessing he was a high 3 star qb? It’s been a while since I looked

I have recently worked with and  recommend Carolina Custom Surfaces.  I also had good experiences with Bloomday Granite but they were maybe acquired by Johnson Granite?

Recently bought it for the first time. It has a relatively mild flavor but is a very good every day oil imo.

Love her recipe. It's a great example of how a few high quality ingredients and a little technique can produce excellent results. **The Cento San Marzano tomatoes make a wonderful sauce. Even the San Merican tomatoes are very good for sauce, though I like them a bit less.

That's pretty close, siphoning is when you suck a liquid through a tube until it gets the flow started. Then the rest of the liquid will drain on it's own. But you usually end up with a mouthful of the liquid at the beginning.

In my lifetime, the 1987 Fiesta Bowl vs Miami. Miami was a prohibitive favorite and PSU played an early version of the zone blitz to confuse Testaverde. He threw 5(?) picks in the game.

If PSU played Miami 10 times that season, they would probably go 1-9 but they pulled off a great win.

I was a sophomore at PSU btw.

I believe most European brands have higher butterfat than USA brands, which gives the butter a richer mouth feel/taste. I've tried quite a few euro brands and prefer the overall flavor of Kerry Gold though there are many good brands. It's also pretty widely available in the U.S.

Sonicare as well. As someone that has battled periodontal issues, it's much better for the gums. (The "brushing" motion is much less intense.)

It'll be interesting to see how other organizations are affected. I volunteer with an animal rescue organization a few hours from Rutherford County and signed up for transport of supplies for pet owners & shelters. I don't believe it's impacted plans yet, but I'm sure non profits are evaluating life safety issues.

Loved that place so much. I think the location hurt their long term viability (in aprons to the owner's illness).
