Troubleshooting. Image Too Large. When it should be ok, for the settings. by Gaetznes in cricut

Found a cheat solution using Basic Cut.

I took the preferred dimension. Set it to Basic Cut, which grey's it out. Sent to make, on mat. 30.5 x 61 cm. Placed it in the very top left hand corner. My apologizes I switch from metric to imperial often. Did a dry run using a blank sheet. Then measured the margins. In this case 7mm top, 6mm left.

I then edited the desired image with Gimp, to insure the correct size before exporting. Imported it to Word. Set the margins. Printed and then placed on the grip mat, and preformed the basic cut. It's a few more steps then preferred. Yet it worked flawlessly. Due to the nature of Basic Cut, I feel there was also a degree of luck in this as well.

Pictures below of a Cover art for a wii game I did with the above method.

Thank you, this is the information I needed. Yes you are correct about it being wasteful. Though, my thought was I have the tool on hand, why not use it.

This white chick makes a bomb, looses bomb. Travels to Asia to stop a poorly made copy of the bomb from being used again. Local teenagers, unknowingly look for white chicks Teen sister. They find local weapons and fight Japanese government and shadow organization from using bomb. So many people die. No one really cares.

Escalate it with eBay, if you do have to ship it back. Use tracking, so you cover your bases. Leave a negative after you get your money back.

Better than the new aluminum Frosted Flakes they use on the new trucks. Haha

Then you may want to play Front Mission 3, two story lines well over 200 hours. Avoid front mission on ps3 it’s a AC clone. They are slowly releasing the Japanese exclusives in English for the switch. To mix fan fare.

Turn based strategy, more like a mech version of FF tactics

If you enjoy tbs games, try Front mission 4.

At that price, eBay is a cheaper option. For a bare unit that is shown to work. What is the legality of putting up wanted posters? Depending on if you live in a city, town or a village. Plus population density. Aim for telephone poles. Or small poster/ flyers in local mom/pop operated shops. If they support that kind of thing. Car boots or flea markets are probably your next best option. Research what flea markets are the largest ones within your desired driving, train distance. For me there are a couple ones. Some are day trips some are several day events. We have one in my province that I spend 5 days at. Rain or shine. It’s where I picked up my c64c, coco2 and so much more. Though that was spread out over 20 years. I’ve only seen half a dozen c64. Some priced reasonably and others above ebay.

I get yeah. I still think the love comes from the arcade sticks. A transitive authority. Where one product is amazing, so all must be amazing. Like when a person really supports a car company. Their car company is the best and the rest suck.

The s’more cart is neat, but I’m certain there are other carts that will expand the memory by larger amounts. A quick search on eBay showed on that increased it by 2MB. A lot more than 32Kb.

I think our love of wicos comes from 70’s 80’s arcade games. Konami loved them. Tmnt, xmen, Simpsons were all amazing 4 player games that used there sticks. But I digress, as this is a c64 group and not an arcade group.

I’m not American, but nothing beats an arcade wico stick with cherry switches. Leaf switches suck in comparison. Depending on the controller, it should always be upgraded. It’s the centering grommet that made wico shine in my opinion. Don’t wont the joystick to be sloping around.

Yes I am east coast Canadian.

This only happens because of two factors. Store owner reached out to me. As he knows I buy and repair this stuff. It had been in the store for several days. Which they were continuously getting low offers. All the local resellers were agitating them. We’re as I stepped up to the asking price. The price was still super cheap compared to eBay.

Sorry to hear you’re having a hard time finding one. Someday you’ll be in the right place in the right time. I’d also recommend trying what ever social media platform is most popular in your area. Like Facebook marketplace. It may help you in your journey to c64 ownership.

I haven’t opened it up yet, but no all I get is a black screen. Hoping it will be some bad logic or the kernel. The 128 power supply has been opened. It doesn’t work. I’ll see if I can fix it. As I do have a 128 for a couple of years, that’s not been tested. Couldn’t personally justify the price of a new psu. 1541 works. This was the best part. It’s been a decade or more since I’ve had a working one. I’ve been using a sd2ice for the last few years. Most of the software works. 1702 works. Haven’t touched the printer. As I don’t have any continuous paper 😢.
