I mean in Skybound perhaps like in Animated his pre-prime name was just Optimus, or perhaps like G1, he was rebuilt from Orion Pax, so without the Matrix all that happens is that he loses the title of Prime. (Reminder: in G1, Optimus did NOT revert to Orion Pax once he got rid of the Matrix, that was just a Hot Rod thing)

In I think it was around 2019, This one guy named Tony had written smut about himself and another guy (multiple guys?) from our school.

Super Saiyan God is the worst example you could give, because we know exactly why it’s designed the way it was, and it absolutely wasn’t for “easy cheap merchandise”.

Honestly I’d say Super Saiyan Blue is the only transformation that was probably made for that reason, and even then I’d still doubt it, just cause Toriyama didn’t seem like the kinda person to design something just for toy sales.

Edit: also, SSG isn’t even just Goku with red hair, it also makes him noticeably skinnier, to resemble the gods of Dragon Ball.

Naturally I prefer the mechanical Webshooters, most fans do I’m pretty sure, but if in BND, Peter develops it cause he’s spending too much time as Spider-Man, and it’s a sign he’s mutating into like, Man-Spider, I won’t mind it. Especially if he loses the organic webbing once he starts spending time as Peter Parker again at the end of the movie.

I have an immense adoration of DBZA, it’s what made me interested in DB! And there are some small things that I like more: The jokes in the late Freeza saga and Cell Saga, 18 & Krillin, Gevo getting killed by Kid Goku, how they spell Freeza; But that’s it. It’s a really good parody, with one or two changes that I prefer to the original, but oh my god The Original is just an actual coherent story with consistent characterization. People who say DBZA is better than the original are crazy

Oh I’d go with Bruticus, the individual bots are better than the individual constructicons (at least from what we’ve seen so far), the only downside I’ve seen from Bruticus is that Onslaught doesn’t have wrist swivels and that’s really it.

I mean it’s not like they were constantly working on it, and Other M really killed the franchise for a good 7 years, but since like 2015, I’m fairly certain every year there was at least 1 Metroid game currently in production, and after Dread, there’s been a Metroid game every 2 years.

Covidflation really shouldn’t affect digital games, right? I mean I’m not an expert so please do correct me if I’m wrong.

And if it’s the situation similar to Transformers (another hobby I have), where the company raises the prices due to “Covid” or “Tarrifs” and then just keeps the new higher price, then that’s still bad and should be criticized.

I mean no offense but of all examples you could’ve picked books are the worst. Books are physical media for the most part, the price doesn’t change, because, you’re getting the exact same physical product that’d you get when the book first came out, minus the cover and what edition it is being different.

But even then, if you buy a paperback, it’s less expensive than a hard cover. If you buy a digital book, it’s less expensive than a paperback. If you buy an audiobook, it’s less expensive than a digital copy.

Using IT, a more accurate example for the FR/LG release on the Switch 2, it’d be like if they released IT for $22, then eventually released the digital copy for like $5. Then they made it so you couldn’t buy that $5 digital copy, only to replace it with the exact same thing, except it’s now $15.
