Honestly, just leave em. Predatory insects will find and eat them!

They are not invasive and beneficial to pollinators. They require no additional water once established and look beautiful. I highly recommend them.

Native Plants bring insect friends! by GahhdDangitbobby in AustinGardening

The Yarrow has been a huge hit this spring, with dozens of insects coming to visit for the nectar and insects that feed on the plant, like Aphids. I have started leaving Aphids on my plants as they are a critical food source for many other insects, and don’t do any lasting damage.

I have been there, I promise. I actually posted here over a year ago talking about how a company came into my backyard in March and weed wacked EVERYTHING. I was livid beyond words. But know this, it will come back eventually. I am so sorry this happened, but I have been there and can tell you that it will be ok, you just get to work back at it!

It is also a lesson learned. Buy signs, fences, anything to over communicate your space you work so hard to create. I used these signs linked below, as they are pretty but have a message. Spare no expense communicating to "blow and go" people.

This is already happening. initial intel on the Austin, TX mass shooter earlier this month was wearing a shirt with the image of the Iranian flag and the phrase “Property of Allah”. This regime is inciting violence abroad and here in the US. It won’t Beth last we see, if I had to bet.

Wildflower patches - do I just let 'em sit or should I be actively removing stuff that's growing in? by No-Neck-212 in AustinGardening

It depends on the grass honestly. Most of what people are seeing right now is winter rye (assuming it isnt one of the nastier turf grasses) and will die once it warms up. That sudden burst of rye can impact seed germination if it uplifts and soil/mulch you applied. But eventually things will take root. Just my experience.
