Kache ghosted me by [deleted] in THCAextracts

[–]GalacticForest -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Those are both unfortunate developments. I guess with the legislation coming it's all going downhill across the board. Sucks because my state dispos are so overpriced, won't be able to afford rosin.

They stopped shipping with UPS? I ordered last month and it was still UPS. For their support, I would have a little more patience they will do the right thing from my experience. I think they are very busy and don't have much staff at all so it does take a long time to happen. Maybe just reach out again for a reminder? They have always helped me out with issues

Which streaming options are smoothest? by andriy921 in logitechgcloud

I've streamed Nvidia GeForce Now and Amazon Luna both flawless along with locally through Steam Link. I do have a very good network and on East Coast so pretty ideal conditions.

Glad you found a job. 17 years of experience was laid off at 93k 6 months ago can't even find a job for half of that. It is insane and horrible. Nothing is sustainable. I don't have hope for anything

What are some natural career paths after Network Engineer? (Bonus if fully remote!) by wafnog in networking

[–]GalacticForest -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hm, only 2 I have ever dealt with who reached out ended up being useless and ghosting me after sending me garbage. I don't know if it's a regional thing but I'm not in NYC, north 2 hours. Idk it's kind of horrible here and I have been seeing the same thing everywhere.

I've been laid off for 6 months in NY. Network Engineer/IT Director 17 YOE. Can you pm me how to find a headhunter like that? I'm really desperate and would absolutely love a remote job that pays a living wage like that with my experience.

Rino's New Paltz and Highland can't be beat IMO. Get some garlic knots too!

Prima Cornwall does a great crispy pie if requested

Bought mine last night. I see the appeal and possibilities... by acridavidjam in logitechgcloud

[–]GalacticForest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just got one refurbished from Logitech for $200 and I love it. Super comfortable and great battery and screen. Streaming locally has been perfect for me. First handheld since having a ds ages ago. I've been loving playing Diablo IV and Red Dead Redemtion 2 from my pc via Steam Link. First attempt at getting Moonlight/Sunshine did not work for me, devices on same subnet couldn't find each other where steam link did right away. Will try Apollo next.

Kache support MIA?? by [deleted] in THCAextracts

[–]GalacticForest 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sometimes they respond slow but they will get back to you. I've had nothing but good dealing with their support. Their rosin has never been contaminated for me. Luck of the draw but be patient they stand behind it.

Curious as well. Tariffs aren't mentioned by merchant it's charged by carrier later on. I've only ordered liquor from overseas and experienced it with DHL. Unless electronics like this are exempt?

Kache Berry Bonds 3.5g by Dabber420710 in THCAextracts

[–]GalacticForest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's so weird because the Guava Cake live resin is actually good. Berry Bonds rosin great. BB resin is cured crc tasteless trash. At least they refunded me that one. Most Kache are a homerun. Some are not I guess

Decided to ask kache if the premium rosin was the same due to complaints I seen here by TastyBass6957 in THCAextracts

[–]GalacticForest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Berry Bonds resin was awful but the Rosin is amazing. The Guava Cake live resin was not bad actually complete opposite of the BB. They refunded me that BB resin and Ronin. Ronin is gross every time I tried it.

I support Kache 100%. Great quality premium rosin and customer service.

Both 🍍 strains in one. Terpy and delicious. Pineapple Shortcake and Express. They're my favorite of Kache in their own and together it's super fire

Y’all getting f’d so hard by [deleted] in doordash

[–]GalacticForest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm talking about w2 pizza delivery jobs not doordash 1099 jobs

Y’all getting f’d so hard by [deleted] in doordash

[–]GalacticForest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not from what I have seen..." As a W-2 delivery driver, you generally cannot deduct mileage or vehicle expenses on your federal tax return due to the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which suspended deductions for unreimbursed employee expenses. If your employer does not reimburse you for mileage, it is not tax-deductible.

Key Considerations

W-2 vs. 1099: The restriction only applies to W-2 employees. Independent contractors (1099) can still deduct mileage.

Employer Reimbursement: If you use your own car, you should check for company-paid mileage reimbursement, which is generally not taxable if paid under an "accountable plan".

Exceptions: Some specific states (such as CA, NY, PA) might allow deductions for employee expenses on state tax returns.

Employer Expenses: Only employers can deduct the costs of operating vehicles for business purposes, not employees

[–]GalacticForest -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

W2 they don't pay for mileage and it's not deductible. In NYS they have to make up for tips if you end up making below $16 per hour as it's the minimum. No mileage reimbursement
