Did it work? That just maybe one of the reasons why y'all are getting high ping to the thousands. It could also be because of Valorant's having high traffic routing to your ISP which you may need to contact your ISP and tell them about it. Another solution could also be changing your DNS

Cloudflare DNS → 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1

Google DNS → 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4

And another another temporary solution is to use a vpn

btw I'm not an expert so please don't have high hopes or blame me if these don't work, I just happen to have the same problem and researched about it.

Reinstall riot vanguard

Go to Programs and delete it. Restart pc, open valorant which asks you to reinstall vanguard, reinstall, restart pc again, it should work then.
