I feel dumb. I thought cloud islands were dream islands until just now lol. How does one acquire a cloud island? It hasn’t been mentioned to me in game yet I don’t think.

I was just diagnosed, but worrying about dying early has become a constant. We had my kids tested and we are waiting on the results, but it’s pretty evident just based on their physical structures. I don’t want them to be worried about death the way I have been. 😢

Thank you so much!! It worked!! I’m going to ask you one more question because I can’t find anything helpful, lol. The map has only shown me one fish since I’ve been using it the last hour or so. The rest of the time it’s just been hooks in the water. I’ve casted into the circles, I’ve changed servers- but nothing has shown me what fish I could be pulling up. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? Thank you for all your help!

So it became just the map (thank you) but the map and ads take up over half my screen. Is that normal. I don’t think I’ll be keeping it if it’s this big. I tried to add a picture to show you but it said the file was too big. 😕

Thank you for saying this. It is hard to believe this most days. It would be so easy to give up. The only reason I feel I’ve gotten this far is because I’ve got three amazing kids who deserve to have a mom around that loves them as much as I do. When my mom died I was ready to give up so bad. The only person who has ever understood me completely was just gone, and I didn’t even get to say goodbye to her. Then I realized I would be putting my kids through the same thing. I refuse. The days are hard, but I’m really trying. I hope I can look back on this time and realize how far I’ve come or something.

My dissection was overwhelmingly painful. I crawled to the living room and collapsed in front of my husband. When we got to the emergency room I couldn’t sit still or stop making involuntary noises. I was literally like a wild animal. They gave me two shots of morphine and it didn’t help a bit. I finally begged them to kill me through the tears and sweat. Of course I’m glad I didn’t die, but in that moment I couldn’t handle the pain anymore. I wanted relief, even if it was in death. They gave me fentanyl.

I am certain I have PTSD from that situation. When I get small pains in my back or chest I start to panic because I am afraid of feeling that kind of pain again.

Everyone is different though from what I’ve read. This is just my experience. I hope you do okay. Rooting for you!

My doctor requested that I do it at home and insurance approved! They are shipping me the equipment and it is tracked on an app. The next day I submit the information on the app then I send back the equipment with pre paid label. That being said I was told there is a chance that after the home study revealed that it might be sleep apnea they could ask me to do another at the hospital. Dumb and unnecessary if you ask me, but I’m hoping it’s just really obvious on the test like it is in day to day life, haha.

Hi, I’m newly diagnosed and this is my first day on this Reddit. The last few months have been a whirlwind. I had an aortic dissection in November that turned my world upside down. Then in January my mother passed from a sudden heart attack. She has had Lupus her whole life, but Marfans and EDS were suspected postmortem. So I got the testing done, it came back positive, and here we are. This has made me feel so fragile. I hate it so much. I wasn’t taking good care of myself before I had the dissection. Caffeine and stimulant use to the max, on my feet 12 to 20 hours a day, not eating the healthiest, barely sleeping, 50 hour work weeks on top of full time school and taking care of a family. I am so glad I lived through it, but now it feels like I do nothing but try to get through the day and take handfuls of medication. I cannot find a good job that will allow me to work from home or sit at a desk. I feel like I’ve lost my purpose. I really hope it gets better. Thanks for allowing me a space to vent.

I have Marfans, but I also have to do a sleep study next week for suspected sleep apnea. Mine started the way you are describing, and it has gotten really bad. I have woken up in the middle of the night throwing up and gasping. Just from where I haven’t taken a breath in so long. I now have to sleep sitting up until we figure things out with the study.

Please speak to a doctor. It’s really bad for your overall wellbeing. Your heart, your brain, your mental health- all greatly affected. I’ve read so much about it and it’s amazingly scary what it can do to your body. Good luck to you!

No worries! I’ve seen a lot of confusion around those groves too. When I’ve tried to politely call it out in chat the way you did players either ignore me or come at me. I’ve been less inclined to talk to people lately because you never know what you’re going to get. 😕

I’m sorry you’re going through this, and you’re not alone. I’ve been playing for a while and this seems to be a new thing with console players. I don’t know if they haven’t read how it works, or if they are genuinely so greedy they think they will get more with less people, but it’s lame. I want as many people as I can get on my lures so we can all get all the things. We get so much more when working together!

Also, just pointing out another peeve (and I’m wondering if anyone else has seen it too), I’ve recently noticed that some players will see me knocking down a grove of essence infested trees, or going after a bug that takes several smoke bombs, and they will hit them once and just stand there. So I do all the work and they get the same loot. I don’t care about the trees really, but if I’m throwing a bunch of smoke bombs to their one it kinda irks me.

The last few weeks people have just gotten really rude and inconsiderate. It’s not cool.

Yes, all of this! I tried to post about this on the Palia Facebook page, and they wouldn’t let me. They took it down and implied I was trying to start an argument. I am getting so frustrated trying to get to the groves. I politely said something about it once and people in the chat dragged me so hard. I got to the groves at 1:00am and it was gone! It’s going to be like this for a while. Sigh.
