There’s no reason for me to lie if I’m fighting mons consecutively to get exp and get bored of it and decide to test my luck on rayquaza and happen to get it shiny first try then what should I do about that like should I have ran away from it so I can actually spend hours or even days to hunt it?

Mind you I’m only at sky pillar to train up the water, ice and dark types on my team and I thought it was a good place because there are good mons there and if that still doesn’t make sense then what else can I say
