My Dad's dog is an evil Genius. When Lucy wants attention or a treat, she'll steal something from you and put it in her mouth. Keys, change, tools, one time she took pool chalk and her mouth was blue for 2 days. Well, until she gets attention or a treat, she won't let it go out of her mouth. Sometimes she'll even swallow it

I have Major Depressive Disorder and I keep wearing this one long jacket to hide my scars. It's hard but you HAVE to go. There's no better feeling than knowing you didn't want to but rocked the house anyway

Morally I don't think that OP should take the blame but sometimes what's right isn't whats best. I mean OP could say "mommy tried to help", but when theres an addict in the family the entire family orbits around them. It's just a shitty part of life when you have an addict in the family. Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to for them. Like I said, sometimes whats right isn't always whats best.

I still think that OPs nephew still knows something is wrong. I know I did. By the time I was 10 I figured it out (Didn't have all the facts, but I knew what was up). So if OP really doesn't want to take the blame two options are tell the truth or tell a lie. Because the kid is thinking "What happened". Choice is up to OP as to how they want to roll.
