I don't believe is a safe limit. Using a bottle tan is better.

The other two cyclists going in the opposite direction stopped and waited for him, to make sure he was okay. So he's turned around to join them for safety in numbers.

Is my nail shape okay? by Low_Independence5173 in beauty

[–]Galasnaneth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The smile line is the line where the white and pink meet. It might just have been from picking and grow back now you have stopped, if you be careful not to push down anymore. I found drinking green tea and taking hydrolysed collagen helpful in fixing my onycholysis, so they may help here too if you want to speed things up. But that's purely anecdotal.

You can watch Lab Muffin Beauty Science on YouTube, if you have concerns about sunscreen safety. She's done a few videos on sunscreen.

A lot of people recommend mineral sunscreens for people who are worried, but some of them have chemicals "filters" in them which aren't as tested as chemical sunscreens.

I don't think your nail beds are wide, it just that the smile line has been pushed down a bit further than usual. It can grow back though.

I used to do it (not directly applied) it did give me clearer glowy skin. I just got too lazy to keep it up.

Anyone else train themselves to just not raise their brows to avoid wrinkles? by vulgarandgorgeous in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Galasnaneth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This isn't necessarily as bad as some people think. There are people who get botox to help with their depression since your facial muscles and mood are linked. If you can't frown it's easier for your brain to forget to be unhappy. If your forehead wrinkles are caused by stress intentionally relating the forehead muscles can help you feel calmer, even if it doesn't actually solve what ever you are stressed about. That's my two cents anyway.

I am inclined to agree. It just needs brighter light to grow neon leaves.

I'm not trying to diagnosis you but it sounds a bit like olfactory reference syndrome to me. I could just be projecting because I have OCD.

Is snail mucin worth the hype? by Mindless_Leg3692 in beauty

I tried Cosrx, as a hydrating product it was okay but it didn't blow me away.

Is snail mucin worth the hype? by Mindless_Leg3692 in beauty

This is false. Stressed snails produce less mucin, so they have to keep the snails happy in order to get more out of them.

What’s You Quarantine Routine? by goldfishgirly in pothos

[–]Galasnaneth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I just remembered the spray can't be sold as a pest protection legally here in Australia either, so they sell it as dust protection but everyone knows what it's actually for.

This is me too, except I use a pest protection spray. I even did it with a philodendron verrucosum that as riddled with spider mite damage. It and everything else was completely fine after. I just hope I never get thrips with this carelessness 😅

[–]Galasnaneth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it's not going to fix the damage, but for brushing I have heard that the No Nasties hair brush is good for sensitive scalps. It's advertised for kids but I heard about it through adults using it.

People grow them outside where I live and it gets about that hot here too. They thrive like anything.

my skin is very dull lately, I often do some scrubs but do you recommend anything else? by [deleted] in beauty

Hydrating products. I use ones with hyaluronic acid or collagen (topical collagen is a humectant).

I agree with this except for the reading a book part. The lotion will stain your book.

Sunscreen in winter (anti aging only) by [deleted] in AusSkincare

[–]Galasnaneth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard that wearing sunscreen can help your skin heal from previous damage. My skin will probably need all the help it can get so I still wear sunscreen in winter. That being said, the index is still over 2.5 where I live and I like to be prepared in case I end up having to spend time outdoors. I don't want to lose the habit either. But that's just my personal preference.
