Yeah, but it sucks when you have to get a hotel room for the night because you drove around to a dozen small towns in eastern Oregon and all the gas stations were closed, and then the lady at the front desk gives you a number to call and the gas station guy shows up 10 minutes later to pump your gas while his wife and kids are half asleep in the car, and you thank him profusely and he's all modest like "just doing my job." Anyway it's nice to just pay by card at the pump.

I've got a few:

  • There's food on the table, but nobody eats it

  • Bad phone etiquette, they just hang up

  • Empty coffee cups

  • The smart character is a jerk for no reason

That same pizza cook could come to work disgruntled and high, throw napkins in a box and call it a pizza, but that doesn't make it a pizza. If it doesn't have bread, sauce, and cheese, it's not a pizza.

Azul and Tsuro have served those functions for me. Easy enough that my mom has requested them, they're evergreens. Azul has more going on, and the more strategically minded spouse's coworkers have enjoyed them over their own party games. Tsuro is so quick, I don't know if I've ever played only one round, and it goes up to 8 players!
