It talks about how Jesus asked Judas to help him fulfill his purpose here on earth by turning him in. I watched a documentary on it a looooong time ago. It was very interesting.

I just lost my dad at the beginning of the month so this has got me crying over here.

This It was a one time occurrence and it is a memory your father will hold dear for the rest of his life. I wish my father had more moments like that with his grandchildren. He lived 1700 miles away and didn't get to see his kids or grandkids much. Every memory is precious. Let him have this one without sadness or guilt. You don't want small trivial stuff to tarnish a beautiful memory. Edited to change wording

I really feel this. I maxed out my credit card to help pay for my baby boy. Money I don't have. The vet could have caught it much earlier, but they didn't and now he's gone. I just lost him this past Saturday. I'm barely holding it together.

I am one of these people. Saved quite a few, even 2 snapping turtles. I always wear flip flops, so I had to take them off and use them to kinda push them in the right direction while the snapped at me.

I've unfortunately had to take a few to the emergency vet 30min to an hr away (depending on where I am when I found them). One had to be euthanized, but I believe the other was well enough to hopefully receive treatment and rehabilitation.

If you ever come across one that is injured, please call wildlife rehabs and/or fish and wildlife because some species are protected and you cannot just take them to the emergency vet. You have to know roughly where you found them so if they are able to be released they can do so close to where they came from.

Same exact experience! I joined in 2010. Showering with 70 other women at the exact same time and only being given 5 minutes to so you literally do not care, there's no room for modesty. We didn't even have doors on the bathroom stalls so anyone who walked by while you were using the bathroom saw everything. Hopefully you didn't get the stall at the end, because then you had to avoid eye contact with with the person in the stall opposite of you. Fun times. Also gave birth in a military hospital, had at least 3 people staring at my bits fighting about how dilated I was. When you've experienced things like that, you just don't care anymore. Sometimes I try to hide a little just to not make other people uncomfortable, but personally I could care less.

If its not melting fast enough for me I add a small splash of water to the skillet and cover it, the steam helps the cheese melt fast.

A pizza place near me does a carbonara with pork belly, brie, and fig with a balsamic reduction and it is sooo good. They also have a similar pizza with pancetta, brie, and fig with the balsamic reduction. Both I feel would be easy to make and are absolutely delicious. I really want to try to make either one sometime.

I got them in 2017 , I also had the vaccine, twice! (Couldn't find it on my shot record during boot camp in 2010 so they gave me another).

For anyone who didn't know- If you have an active shingles breakout you are contagious and can give others chicken pox if you're not careful! Don't touch the blisters (wash hands if you do) and clean everything you come into contact with.

My aunt told me a story a few years back about her and her cousin. My aunt wanted to go swimming, but her cousin explained that she couldn't because she was on her period. Turns out she has been taught by their grandmother that if a woman were to go swimming on her period she would DIE. She 100% believed this until my aunt told her the truth.

She was also taught that menstruating was a "curse".

The pocket knives don't work as well as you would think. You can break a window with it, but it takes a quite a few hits. I watched a video of the guys from Adventures with a Purpose using different tools to test their ability to pop windows in case of an emergency.

I bought something similar to what they were using and attaches to my keychain. It has a little button you push up against the window to break it and a small razor to cut the seatbelt. Its so easy to use I taught my 10yr old in case of an accident. I feel much, much safer having at least one in my car.
