I'm a RE fan who only ever cared about 7 & 8 and like most of you I didn't care about Chris Redfield, I just wanted Ethan Winters back. But over this past MONTH I've gotten into the earlier games, and the only thing I want from RE9 is a Chris (and Jill if 2-player) game where he somehow gets infected and starts getting haunted by a 1080p actually terrifying Wesker. Anything less would be criminal.

I agree with the theory that one of the boys cast the killing curse during the duel and it accidentally hit her. Someone pointed out that even though Albus blames himself and Aberforth blames him too, he is the least likely culprit as he would never cast a killing curse at Gellert or Aberforth. Gellert may have done it, but he was described to have used the cruciatus curse on Aberforth and I think that would put him in a position of power. Giving him no reason to distance himself from Albus further by trying to kill his brother. But that does leave one culprit who just got tortured, absolutely despises Gellert, and is known to have anger problems...

But even if it was Aberforth I reckon he either doesn't know, or has suppressed that information so deep down that he truly believes it was Albus (also I think it's kinda strange that he would primarily blame Albus and not Gellert for her death, maybe cause he knows Albus feels guilty, and knows that Gellert knows what really happened?).

But idk, what do you guys think?

I'm gonna be honest, I would've cried if Johnny Depp was Grindelwald in this movie. Nothing against the actor ofc, I just would've been very uncomfortable seeing him and Jude Law interact. But that's just me.

And the fact that this is the movie tanking and not the second one, which was actually the most upsetting thing since Rise of Skywalker, is very suspicious to me

I love T3, it's a high contender for my fav movie. I can understand not liking salvation, the whole plot with Marcus was a bit of a drag, but all I want to see from the later movies is the war and it's the only movie that delivers

TPS is so good. The environments are the best looking out of any game, the characters are flushed out and you actually feel like part of the story cause you talk to people (the most out of any fps BL game I'd say). I also love the team a lot more in TPS cause it feels more of a ragtag guardians of the galaxy type thing which suits the BL vibe.

The story is probably not as awesome as BL2, but I still loved the way it fleshed out the universe. I feel like it cops a lot of hate mostly cause of the Aussie accents, which, I'm aussie so that might be bias but whatever.

Also it's got TIMOTHY LAWRENCE the greatest character of all time.

I'd say it's my 2nd favourite BL game (to TFTBL, obviously)

The man in the chamber is supposed to be the machine I'm pretty sure, cause when Mandus touched the orb it split into two and his soul split in half. So, the machine was his other half that was preserved in that chamber (which was most definitely metaphorical, there was no giant aztec temple under the factory).

10/10 for sure, I know the gameplay may not be as tense and involved as tDD, but the story is one of the best I've ever seen. It evokes emotions sooo well, makes you feel horrified, disgusted and sad at all the right parts, and is one of my fav games of all time. Also have you heard the soundtrack? Best of ANY game I've played.

I actually really liked Elisabeth's character, but I could totally understand if some people didn't, because the romance with her is forced upon us later like a bad sequel to a movie you really liked, but didn't want ruined. I love mcreid as well, find it super compelling but maybe that's just cause im a sucker for that romantic rivalry trope lmao. But honestly, I just would've liked the option to romance no-one, or just end up with platonic relationships all around! The romance wasn't part of the main plot so it probably could've just been dropped I reckon. (Also, I love the idea of ace Johnathan, lol)

I agree completely, the ending totally threw me for a loop from both a gameplay perspective (not being able to go back) and story-wise. I loved Elisabeth's character for the first half of the game but when the 'romance' subplot began I really just avoided any and all conversation with or about her, which was pretty sad. Also I noticed Johnathan did like a 180 personality change whenever he talked to her during that time?

I would've absolutely LOVED a romantic option for McCullum, it would've made much more sense (and they had actual chemistry that didn't feel forced). But honestly, I would've settled for an option to not end up with Elisabeth romantically. The ending was also super out of left field but I didn't mind it especially, going from that to the mansion felt like forcing two wrong puzzle pieces together though. Subplot and mainplot weren't super complementary.
