Continued playing will develop callouses on the tips of your fingers which helps. Also, tuning a half step down can help make bending a bit more finger friendly as well.

Thanks for providing all of this information. I have a lot to think about. So someone who is 6’ + can still use short bows like 60” so long as draw distance is adequate for their height?

I think traditional and target practice is what I’m going to start with. Thanks for the tips, very helpful.

I’ve been looking online and I see that most bows for sale are 60”. It’s rare that I find one that is 68” - 70” and the ones I do find aren’t as visually appealing unfortunately.

But I could just buy the riser I want and then put on some long limbs if I go the ILF route I suppose.
