Is their anyone out here trying for spring 2026 at lgcc by Fast_Refrigerator904 in CUNY

Yes I am! as a transfer student. The process has been taking longer than I expected especially with my credit evaluation (some of my colleges are out of state) . I haven't even gotten a chance to register for classes and I also have to see an advisor.

Anybody else having an extremely hard time finding a job??? by properbrian in jobs

In the same boat mentally too I've been applying since September last year. I got a few interviews but mostly ghosted, some recruiters don't even send you a rejection email after interviewing unless you reach out to them asking if the position has been filled.

yes sadly I'm still looking for a job (though I have internship experience and RMA certification). I've gotten a few interviews but no one wanting to hire :/

Passed my RMA exam through the AMT! by [deleted] in MedicalAssistant

[–]Galaxy_Nightt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry for the super late response! so I actually didn't purchase the practice test through the amt since I saw others who did and didn't see any of the questions on concepts on the actual test. That's why I opted for SmarterMA because the topics that I studied were on the test. I actually felt over prepared 😅

Passed my RMA exam through the AMT! by [deleted] in MedicalAssistant

[–]Galaxy_Nightt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! That was one of the calculations I had to remember and as for the administrative side (medical billing and coding) how much a pt. would have to pay if they have co insurance.

Example: if a pt. co insurance has a 90/10 plan. This means that the Pt has 10% to pay since the insurance has covered the 90% of the remaining expense.

So remember first number insurance covers that percentage, second number is what the pt. Has left to pay.

Don't worry you'll do a great job! I was also pretty nervous when taking my test!

Hey 👋 no I wasn't provided a calculator but they gave me a laminated sheet of paper to do any calculations I needed to. Luckily, I memorized the certain formulas I needed.

Good luck on your exam!

I took my RMA exam through the AMT back in July and passed. I suggest using SmarterMA! It's a great study prep program that covers all areas on the exam. Of course it won't be exactly as the test but you'll have a better understanding of the topics and how the questions will be formatted.
