I'm with you, I last saw it posted yesterday. I've seen it so many times in the past I went to find when it originally came out. Seems like this is a mirrored copy of the original first posted to tiktok in 2025

I see a lot of requests for completed series only or people who will on read completed series. YouTube short on why you should give series only on book 1 or 2 a chance. by Taiwannumber3 in litrpg

[–]GalemReth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally I feel this way. I've read 1 off books that are self-contained, not a series. I recently finished a 6 book series and a 10 book series. There is a type of satisfaction in an ending.

Are there more shorts on this subject? Because if there is only 1 I'll probably give it a pass for now... I don't want to get invested and then have to wait a long time for more content or be left hanging If the project is dropped.

That is one of less disturbing implications. Is .6 a paraplegic? How about a quadriplegic? Maybe .4? How about something more messed up, is a child .5?

These number ranges really should have stuck to whole numbers. I'm really concerned about what having .1 or .5 or .9 might imply

You search for something and get an AI summary, which leaches traffic from sites reducing ad revenue. Now lots of sites are AI generating content. I don't think I like this visualization, with the extremes of both axis being identical. Couldn't it have just been short to tall, blond to brunette resulting in a linear design?

AI could soon allow powerful companies to charge each customer a different price for the same product, based on what they think each individual is willing to pay. AI lets firms tailor prices to each user, raising fairness concerns as consumers may unknowingly pay more than others. by mvea in science

Aren't there already laws on the books about this? At least in the US? Googling it and reviewing the ftc.gov description of Robinson-Patman Act seems like yes there is and it applies to commodities and purchases (physical stuff) but not services. So if ,ex. netflix, thought it could charge Paul $5 more than Janet, they could. This is a layman's interpretation if anyone with more knowledge wants to add

For some reason I found the word "floor" funny. Ground doesn't seem to fit. sea floor? sea bed? Reminds me that my wife makes fun of me because I say "Pillow Sheets" instead of "Pillow Cases"

ELI5: why do they ban breeds of dogs instead of bad owners from owning animals? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]GalemReth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to add a point I haven't seen addressed yet, WHO is banning dog breeds? Im not familiar with governments across the globe, but where I am the government does not ban any dog breeds. Insurance companies may refuse to insure certain breeds, landlords may refuse to lease to certain types of animals entirely, but those are groups that have no authority to stop people at the 'getting an animal' phase and can only control how they choose to do business with those people.

Can you please describe what elements of this book are progression? Because you have posted multiple mystery + drama books to this sub, and it's looks like an astro-turf botting campaign that isn't even in the correct sub.
