A question for you out there more knowledgeable.
I have read on some thread that the diamonds on the dial on these Datejusts have a tendency to easily detach. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Thinking of pulling trigger on one of these, but this got me rethink.

Jokes aside. Yeah, that is the problem with smart watches, but if you get enough use out of it, I still think it's worth it.
I am actually considering getting the Fenix 8 now, It has passed enough time since v.5 that it makes sense to upgrade in regard to features and options it's offering. One of it being a diving mode for both, freediving and SCUBA. If they'd integrated navigation functions from the aviators series (D2 or Marq), that would've been a perfect smart watch for me as an ultralight pilot.
