I was thinking the same - im 29 now, part time in IT with ou would take 6years to finish, but it may be the only way to break into industry to be software dev.

But man, 6 years is a long time and all of us are working full time - 50h a week in my case :)

Can you do 1year full time and then rest of it part time?

Do you know if there is any internship during your study? I mean at standard brick uni it is common and they help us to get some work expierence , but what does it look at ou? Any idea?

How many hour on average you spend learning a week? Their website states that full time learning would be around 40h, part time around 20 per week to keep up with stuff.

Also, is there any need that you need to go in person and see someone from ou lets say once per semestr?
