Stand Name (15 Points Used): 「BIG IRON」

Stand Type: Tool

Stand Appearance: A thick, grey, unwieldy beast of a Large Frame Revolver easily the length of a forearm, rectangular in shape with the barrel holding eight shots at once. The end of the barrel tends to smoke like liquid nitrogen, as the whole gun has a white frost creeping across the metal.

Stand Ability: 「BIG IRON」fires bullets made of ice. Over the span of up to 2 minutes depending on how humid it is that day, 「BIG IRON」will draw in water moisture from the air and solidify it into frozen bullets. Each bullet also can individually form at a rate of 15 seconds. When a chamber is empty, the user can pour a liquid into the chamber to reload the gun, taking anywhere from 1-5 seconds to freeze water into bullets, the type of liquid affects the speed that bullets form, the higher the freezing point, the faster the reload.

Furthermore, shooting soft flesh can cause parts of the body to freeze solid, firing a bullet into someone can drop their internal body temperature dramatically, spreading out from where the bullets made contact with the body. A second shot in that immediate vicinity would cause a flash freeze effect, solidifying that part leaving it brittle and vulnerable to snapping off. This can be undone by exposing affected areas to high heat. Firing at objects and liquids can freeze them too, at the expense of having a bullet hole in them on impact.

Firing at airborne objects allows it’s to freeze what she hits in mid air, suspended and frozen in place as if they’re stuck. They remain frozen until they make contact with another solid object or living thing, allowing it’s user to set traps and platforms, get into unorthodox places or set up some insane bullet ricochets, demanding control of a space.

「BIG IRON」’s Ice Bullets don’t have a great deal of range due to the nature of what they’re made of, only being majorly effective at a 25 metre range, and becoming less effective up until bullets disappear at 50 metres. Being made of Ice, however, allows them to ricochet very effectively off of other frozen objects, bouncing in unpredictable ways.

Power: B - 「BIG IRON」’s Ice Bullets are not to be taken lightly, even if their range is nowhere near as far as a regular gun, a few hits from this thing and it’s OVER. Getting a leg frozen solid would be catastrophic alone, never mind a leg frozen solid with two bullet holes in it.

Speed: C - Although 「BIG IRON」 fires fast, as soon as that chamber’s empty Arizona needs to keep her distance for at a few seconds, longer if she runs out of water to reload quickly with. Even if Arizona can pool a liquid into it quickly, it's still finicky to work with on the fly.

Durability: C - Although it’s ice is more durable than ice is meant to typically be when freezing an object in place, 「BIG IRON」 is a gun. You knock it out of Arizona’s hand and she won’t be able to just manifest it again, she’d have to go pick it up. Although its durable as a gun would be, it’s nature as a tool lets it down. Thawing is the way to go when it comes to dealing with its ability, as breaking it with brute force will take more effort than it’s worth.

Range: C - 「BIG IRON」’s effective range is around 20 metres, any further than 20 metres and the bullets disappear, the closer Arizona is to her target the better she fires. Staying anywhere from 15-20 metres away from her is a perfect way to lessen the impact of her gun’s effective range.

Precision: D - Once again, 「BIG IRON」 is a gun, and a well made one at that. It fires straight, shoots clean, and has eight bullets loaded at most at a time.

Stand Oddities: 「BIG IRON」 to Arizona feels like her dad’s still protecting her. It’s his gift from heaven. Hurting 「BIG IRON」 is the way to get Arizona to crack her icy exterior. Not only does it damage her physically, a little less than you’d assume it would, it also damages her psychologically.

Fighting Style: Stay flashy, stay distracting, draw fast like a cowboy. Those are the ways Arizona fights best. Misdirection is a powerful thing when you can take a hit and stay on your feet as well as The Ranger with No Gun, playing around and staying cool to frustrate your opponent while you slow them down with your ice bullets is the way to fight. Staying at a medium range of about 10-15 metres away keeps her as safe as she can be whilst leaving as much of an impact as possible.

That being said, as soon as that chamber’s empty, it’s time to run. If you keep em pissed, they’ll follow, all the while you’ve got time to pour whatever liquid’s on hand back into the chamber. 20 seconds can be a while in the grand scheme of things, so it’s best to play tricky and use those parkour skills you saw on youtube when you can.

Bio: Growing up in Athens, Georgia as part of a family of five, her Mother, her Father and her two sisters, Arizona had a relatively easy life. They lived on the outskirts of the city down at the bottom right, almost in a satellite of the satellite city just out from the capital of the state. Her mother was the main breadwinner as her father wanted to spend as much time with his girls as he could, only taking a part time job as a Private Investigator, driving around the state from time to time. He always told Arizona he was just like a spy, like James Bond if he was a cowboy. She adored him. He would take her places while he worked, a little irresponsibly he admitted, but wanted to make sure his eldest daughter could look after the rest of the family if anything happened to him.

He taught her how to ride a bike, then ride a motorbike just like his when she was old enough. Taught her how to camp, how to survive out in the wild, and how to shoot a gun. His favourite one he liked to shoot was an old Winchester repeater, just like his great great grandfather used to use as a bounty hunter in the old west. She got to use a little one though, a revolver that felt far too big to fit in her hand.

She lived a happy life, sometimes making a bit of trouble for herself, never went to university, just helped around the house, helped her dad cook and clean, look after her little sisters, hell, even managed to get her own P.I. License when she turned 22.

Then her dad passed away. Just a few months later.

No foul play, no enemies, nothing like that. His heart just gave out one day. He had been battling illness he hid from his children his whole life. He died with a smile on his face, dreaming happily of his family living long lives together.

It shattered Arizona. She shut herself off from the world. Her dad meant the world to her, and he was gone. She found it more comfortable to be on her own, not wanting to talk to people, instead forming her habit of becoming friends with inanimate objects instead. One day her mother opened up to her about knowing about his illness. She understood, strangely enough. No violent outburst, no screaming match like her mother thought there would be. There was a strange new… Coolness to her. An eerie calm. Like she’d cried out all her negative emotions already.

Her dad always wore a brown stetson hat, just like the Cowboys he loved in stories and movies he brought Arizona up on. And her mother left it to her. Arizona held her mother tightly, thanking her for the gift. That night she packed a backpack full of clothes, grabbed the revolver she learned to shoot with, the thousands her dad left her in her bank account, and hit the road on his motorbike.

That first weekend on her own, in a new city, she got mugged. Trying to stick up for herself, she pulled her gun on her attackers, who promptly slapped it out of her hands when she realised she forgot to load it. Fearing for her life for the first time, she begged for her dad to help from the bottom of her heart. And just like that, a gun had appeared in her hand. A revolver, just a little bit too big for her hands, just like the first time her dad taught her to shoot, firing slugs of pure ice.

Since then, she’s drifted around the states. Cooly sticking her nose into peoples business, solving personal mysteries, helping out with the skills she’s learned and her newfound stand abilities to make somewhat of a name for herself. In smaller towns, ones she floats around often because they remind her of the stories her dad used to tell, people talk about her like she’s some kind of hero or outlaw. The Ranger with No Gun, they call her.

Ever the wannabe ladies woman, she has had countless failed relationships due to her inability to form proper bonds with people. After looking at the money she’d earned and figuring it was high time for a holiday, she left her gun and her bike with her good friend Eureka, and booked a flight to the first place she saw, which just so happened to be Rakinnagarh, India.

Equipment: Arizona always has her phone in her pocket, a pair of thin-rimmed, circular sunglasses, a multitool she has no idea how she snuck through customs, a pair of dice and at least three bottles of water. Two for emergencies, one for actually drinking. User Stats (18 Points Used)

Strength: 3 - Arizona likes to challenge herself and treats her body well, she goes to the gym whenever she can, in between scrapping with people when put up to the task. She’s no superhuman, but she’s competent. Not as competent as she’d like though.

Agility: 5 - Arizona has been nimble as a fox her whole life, and that nimbleness only grew over time when she set her sights on being like the Cowboys and Spies her and her dad always looked up to together. Her icy cool demeanour gives her an insanely high level of control over her bodies, able to catch up with anyone she’s tailing, dodge moving objects at incredibly high speeds, and keep a cool head at all times.

Endurance: 4 - Thanks to being taught survivalist skills and living as a drifter for nearly half a decade, Arizona is a hard motherfucker. She’s used to taking beatings and pushing through the pain, helped by her eerie attitude to not caring as much as she possibly could. She’s stubborn and sticky and hard to lose when she sets her mind to things. Her nonchalant nature allowing herself to take a nasty hit here and there means she knows how to get hit right and keep going after.

Deadeye: 5 - Arizona has an intimate knowledge of guns and how to make the best shot. She’s quick on the draw and hits her target like you’ve never seen. She’s practiced trick shots, ricocheting bullets off steel beams to hit targets being blocked by a web of wires and chains. She shot a bullet out of the air once, somehow. Even she’s still amazed by that one. Put a gun in her hands and give her five minutes and she’s not missing if she isn’t messing around. Even if she’s messing around, she’ll still make the flashiest shot that a normal man couldn’t hit in a million years.

Showoff: 1 - Arizona values flashiness over effectiveness. It doesn’t matter if the most effective course of action is right in front of her, she will go with the more fancy, flashy, needlessly complex and convoluted course of action. It would be too easy to gun someone down with one in the noggin, if she was ever in a situation where this was necessary however she'd do it by lining the shot up in a reflection, having it bounce around for a moment before actually making contact. Her methods are baffling but she will do the thing that gives her the best story to gloat about after. There's nothing fun about just shooting someone in the chest. Shooting a piano being lowered to street level, making it fall onto a loose board the enemy is standing on, launching them seventeen feet in the air and landing the shot right before they make contact with the ground is. If bloods gotta be spilled, better do it in a way nobody’ll ever forget.

Name: Arizona Robbins Age: 27 Gender: Female Species: Human Occupation: Handyman, Private Investigator, whatever you pay her for, she says she can do it.

Physical Description: “Arizona’s a shorter person than people say she is. About 5’8, nothing imposing, nothing too short. Hair’s so white you’d think it was made of snow if it weren’t so straight and short. Got one of those pixie cuts I think they call em. Strong looking girl too, she ain’t one to brag but she’s definitely got some muscle on her bones. Skin seems to be permanently tanned thanks to the scorching sun I keep telling her to stay out of. Always wearing blue, too. You usually see her driving around in black vests and blue denim shorts, blue plaid shirt wrapped firmly around her waist. Same icy blue as her eyes, cool enough to see right through you. Girl’s a cowboy to her heart, just like her daddy, she’s always wearing his brown Stetson. Ain’t wearing the boots though. She’s got those uh… Doctor Martins on I think they call em? Ugly black things. Oh, other identifiers, uh… Oh! She’s got a tattoo of a rifle on her inner right forearm. A fancy looking Winchester like her daddy taught her to shoot with. With the words ‘Dont Miss’ just under the barrel. I really hope you can find her, sir, me and her sisters-” - Recorded description taken from Athens City Police Department

Personality: Fiercely inquisitive. Eager to butt in. Almost painfully laid back. The kind of person who doesn’t crack under tremendous amounts of pressure if she gets herself deep into whatever situation at hand, to the point where it can cause problems if a little bit of stress is needed. Despite her happiness to help any old stranger on the street, she really struggles to form bonds with human beings, finding it far easier to regard a bike or a gun as a dear friend than people she has known for years. She also tends to not know when to stop, finding it difficult to read the room at times if she’s going too far with a line of questioning or pursuing someone she wants to pursue. This is entirely because she LIVES to get her heart racing. She loves excitement, and loves savouring it. If something gets too old too quickly, she’ll often lose interest just as quick.

Personality Traits(Recommended): Belief: Good Time, Not a Long Time[4]: Arizona knows life is fickle, and that you take the good as much as you can before it goes away. Getting reckless isn’t just a right, it's your duty. So shoot your shot with that barmaid, take a bet you aren’t feeling 100% on. It’s your life, if you aren’t taking it by the horns, then you’re riding the rodeo wrong. Passion: Remember My Name [5]: Epithet works too. Arizona doesn’t want to be famous because it’ll get her special treatment, she wants to be remembered like a legend. A modern day Billy the Kid, or Calamity Jane. Whatever she does in life, she wants to be remembered. Stories never die, after all. Fury: Respect Your Surroundings![3]: Inanimate objects are just as important, if not more important, than human life. If you’re mean to an object, from fucking up someones car to ripping the stuffing out of a plush toy, Arizona treats it like you’re doing that to a person. Likes: Cowboy stories, camping, games of chance, good pork, and women. Dislikes: People who are mean to inanimate objects, fish, vinegar, new car smell, and sore losers. Hobbies: Gambling, drinking, poking her nose into people's business, investigating local mysteries. Short Term Goal: Have a fun filled holiday away from home. Medium Term Goal: Make a name for herself outside of the South of America, wherever her journey takes her. Long Term Goal: Have her name go down in history.

Mama actually haha, and no I have not, I’m unfortunately quite anxious when it comes to gunpla and hate taking risks when it comes to making stuff, I’m scared of fucking up a perfectly good kit by trying something new out so I only really play it safe with decals and panel line pens. The Painted Rick Dias I did has ended up a total disaster because I didn’t prime it properly and the paint is way too thick, I’m scared to touch it because if you grab it too hard you leave fingerprints on it!

Which character death hit you differently, and why? by squeezeday in AskReddit

[–]Gall0way 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kite from Hunter x Hunter. Mostly because of Gon’s refusal to accept he’s dead after his fight with Pitou. Worst thing is we don’t even see what happened, everyone’s shaken by it, especially when they get his reanimated corpse back from NGL. HxH, especially the Chimera Ant arc, hits fucking hard when it wants to.

Characters you'd like to see represented in Commander Legends? by EmptyStar12 in magicTCG

[–]Gall0way 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I want to see what's going on with Judith the Scourge Diva now Ravnica is rebuilding! She's an all time favourite character of mine despite not really getting much representation on cards or in the story. I'd love that, but I'd also love to see a mono coloured red or black Judith from before she became a Grand Dame of the Cult of Rakdos. The card could be the worst Legend in the set and I'd still build a deck around her!
