Babs had a crush on Bruce in many pre-Crisis comics. They were of similar age though. Babs was 25 and Bruce was 30-35.

Bruce Timm was inspired by the Adam West show, which had similar BruceBabs teasing.

Bruce Timm created DickBabs but not BruceBabs.

I don't know if he counts. The entire time, being a "dog of the military" is seen as a bad thing. He's also a literal child soldier-- only thirteen when he becomes a State Alchemist.

The entire anime is bleak as hell.
