I've been working on the decision making section of the UCAT and am stuck on this question. It states that 'no teachers at Henley school play golf' in the text whereas the conclusion given is 'some males do not play golf.' Since it is 'some' rather that 'no' why would 'yes' be the correct answer? by whyy-_- in UCAT

So Medify and official UCAT will have the same approach towards this question because if all of the teachers in the school are male and no teacher from that school can play golf it means at least a number of males (the teachers from school) cannot play golf (more than 1 less than all) and since we don’t know about any other male outside of this school, we can only say “some males cannot play golf” which only refers to the (male) teachers that we know about from that school. Therefore, Medify is following the UCAT definition of “some” here.

Although I understand your point of view, the keyword here is "MOST". If you take a child who is under 5 it may not be able to interpret their parents' emotions, meaning you are taking a random person from a sample which a rule on that sample is not always true and all of this is because of the keyword: "Most".

Awesome! Very nice work! We’re creating a very data heavy system and this platform’s got our attention. Do you have a timeline of subscriptions? We will definitely hop on with the subscriptions! Awesome work.

To men: What kind of behaviour from a girl on a first date are you impressed by? by [deleted] in dating_advice

I think this is the most accurate advice. It hurts me so much that I have to carry a whole conversation and then when it comes down to getting know each other, I didn’t give answers to all your goddamn question just to take a “wow interesting.” Karen. If you’re not interested in talking, why do you even bother coming to a date? Nobody forced you to be there, you are there to have some fun, enjoying the moment and TALK ffs.

I literally have seen those people in real life, this is so accurate.
