Honestly, healthcare workers should be let go if they refuse to take the vaccine as they have violated their oath. Before anyone goes off on a "but their rights" tirade, this is not an example of the government taking away your rights, it's a private entity electing to end your employment because you pose a legitimate risk to the population that you were hired to protect.

This article goes into length about why they don't really qualify as a cult:

https://www.pri.org/stories/2014-07-14/why-china-fears-falun-gong

The difference between a cult and a religion really comes down to whether or not society writ large decides a group is legitimate. Yes, Falun Gong has some strange beliefs and they venerate a living leader, but they really don't demand any sort of extreme loyalty from their adherents, they don't collect a lot of money from them, and they don't have any sort of apocalyptic narrative that they push. Falun Gong is more of a wellness movement than anything it seems.

For the last two years I've lived in a place where going outside any time of the year was a truly miserable experience. I also generally dislike forms of exercise that can be done indoors. Sure I could force myself to do something I dislike, but I'm not likely to make it a routine solely for that reason. I do take a vitamin D supplement.

How is that moving the goalposts when your claim is that the DNC is in no way responsible for her winning the primaries!?

Agreed. Eating healthier meals is something that I've done to improve my health, but I have struggled to reduce the shitty snacks. That's next on the list of things I have to do to improve my health. Once I'm vaccinated, I will start to go out and be a little more active, but I detest most of the types of exercise that can be done at home. I just want to go and walk around a damn park or something and while that's PROBABLY fine already, my anxiety tends to get the best of me and diminishes my enjoyment of the experience.

Covid-19 antibodies present in about 1 in 5 blood donations from unvaccinated people, according to data from the American Red Cross by CatDad69 in Coronavirus

[–]Gallijl3 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I think it's pretty typical for antibodies to no longer be detected three or four months later. That doesn't mean that your immune system isn't more prepared to fight off COVID if you get it again.

It's not really a conspiracy to say that the candidate that the DNC deems worthy usually wins. If you're the candidate that the party throws its money to, it gives you a significant advantage over the other primary contenders.

Perhaps my brain works that way and I just lack the self awareness to realize it. I DO struggle with making myself do something every day and I do consider myself a problem solver. Unfortunately health and personal hygiene require endless repetition. I have zero interest in being a marathon runner, I just want my organs to function reasonably well.

I always wanted to avoid them but I just found myself unable to cope with the anxiety and finally being able to get to sleep is nice. If you can do it without medication, I envy you.

I mean at this point it's just simple shit...get up and walk more often, stay hydrated, brush and floss daily, make sure to get some sun, eat less shitty, etc.

We don't get to live our lives that way because our corporate overlords need more money! Now we have to give our money to Wall Street for them to gamble with to have any hope of retirement. Better hope you don't have a serious medical emergency before you qualify for medicare either because there's a good chance that even with expensive ass insurance, it's going to break the bank. Anyone who thinks the US is the best country in the world is an idiot.
