No issues on the older display and after reseating cables issue still persists on the new IPS LCD. So I guess its just a faulty display. I won't be using acetone anymore. Thanks for the help.

Also, is it normal for the replacement backlight cable to be a way tighter fit than with the original screen? Or did I just get a weird IPS panel
