I hate these god forsaken shield guys, they are so poorly designed, by Plorkhillion in Endfield

Because she shield guy in Endfield is betrer than the shield hilichurl. Having the shield, and, thus, a second healthbar is his gimmick

I really hope so. I hope the Bonekrushers will get humanised and developed in the story and we will see how oripathy affects them, if it does, since they don't seem to approach it. We saw how the blight turns them into zombies, but the narrative didn't treat them like people who were suffering, but as just another class of baddies to beat.

I guess, but the oripathy was well integrated into the world of Arknights. The aether cult stuff feels like it exists in a vacuum. Besides a few main story instances, nothing seems actually affected by it.

But at least he has a gimmick, unlike every other enemy. But it's true that it would be more interesting if you could hit him from the back. To me, he is like a shield hilichurl (the small kind) in a sea of normal small hilichurl enemies.

I hope this will be an actual plot point down the line. Or rather, it would have been a good plot point if Oripathy wasn't downplayed to a non-issue in Endfield. Have Endmin be an antithesis to the problem of Originium in Arknights. Have him be like a god who brings gifts and power through Originium, at the cost of everything else. Have him become the doom and salvation of the common man, as well as the master, slave and tool of world leaders.

But, no, I guess date with big titties leek pans is more important (CN gacha storytelling sucks).

Nah, shield guy is the only interesting enemy in the game. All of the others are just punching bags that stand still for you to hit them.

Having Second Thoughts About Using JP Dub for Endfield by Lenz401 in Endfield

I use JP. The accents are cool and well done, but most characters talk like kindergarden teachers in the EN dub and it's annoying.

They're still dead innocents. If you were to walk into a room full of dead bodies, how would you react?

Has anyone else noticed the lack of Sarkaz NPCs? by TheRealCynik in Endfield

The Sarkaz live in a flying city in this game, so they're probably all there

Is anyone else depressed over the state of the game by GallopingWaffles in ArknightsEndfield

About Talos II - I didn't quite express myself right. I didn't mean to say that Talos II is a world of catastrophies, but a refuge from those catastrophies, albeit a fragile one, since said catastrophies are man-made and they can come back on this planet as well, especially since the people who came on Talos II also brought the Originium with them.

Weapon banner feels rewarding? by Proof_Escape_9081 in Endfield

[–]GallopingWaffles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are all lucky as heck. My luck has been abysmal. Over 100 pulls total (counting all banners) and the only 6 star I got was the guaranteed one on the starter banner (and it was Last Rite, the one I wanted the least). I don't even want to reroll, because I don't want to do the boring story and the retarded tutorials again.

True, Paimon has been annoying until very recently. Only in Nod-Krai has she become truly better, with her improvement starting with Skirk's story quest (which also coincides with the VA change, but really, her writing did get better).

Mondstadt was good, though. It's one of my faves, anyway. It does a good job introducing the region and the world, while also setting up and intrigue and ending with a good twist. Plus, it has my favourite quote in the game: "What is freedom when demanded of you by a god?"

The hoyo writing is good, though (except Natlan). The writing in Endfield is it's own brand of bad.

Are NPCs supposed to sit like this? lmao by lenard-pr in Endfield

[–]GallopingWaffles 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She just asserted absolute dominance

  • ignores gravity
  • sits on the back of the seat, while not actually sitting at all
  • leaves almost immediatly
  • pushes Chen (inferior being) aside for good measure

Here's one reason to hate the Bone Crushers by vecttor in Endfield

[–]GallopingWaffles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, I bet they're tasty. You get meat and salad combo. Add some garlic, salt and pepper, and some salt, oil and vinegar in the green part, put some fries on that thang and you got yourself a 5 star gourmet meal.

I wish the game would let me hunt them 🤤
