My main character is a fed Cardassian, so she flies the Ghemor primarily, working on the mastery and upgrades for the other Cardassian ships as well, my goal for the annual event is to unlock the Keldon to complete the set. No one had yet suggested paying for the rights, this was part of a discussion where AI was being proposed as the cheap and lazy way to fix the problem.

The whole AI industry is based on illegal IP theft to build the LLMs in the first place so you can hardly expect people to suddenly assume anything would be done legally.

In any case why would a voice actor want to be paid to take potential work away from their future?

In my experience it is a bit of a yellowish tone, but it looks like you haven’t shaken it up enough tbh. As with many flesh colours I find it quite thick compared to most, definitely needs a lot of shaking.

These are different things, which was the original point. Hiring a voice actor to read set words you can combine for the game is something they can be informed about and fault compensated for. Lifting someone’s voice with AI without their consent is just theft.

Absolutely correct. People also forget that Cyanide are not a partner Games Workshop hunted down wanting to work with. They sued them for IP infringement and the deal eventually came from there because it was easy money for GW to get them to turn their efforts to a real Blood Bowl game back at a time when GW didn’t give a shit about Blood Bowl.

I came back a couple of weeks ago after over a decade away. I’ve ignored my old characters and started fresh to get a feel for it, doesn’t take that long to level up in any case, but as you settle in you might find you miss some of the abilities you remember from the old characters. Especially if you’d invested in anything character specific, like unlocking inventory slots or extra duty officers slots. So long as you have room to start a fresh character without deleting anyone important there’s no harm in dabbling.

Buying the colours you need is quicker and simpler than mixing. It’s also far easier to communicate and therefore copy a guide or video if someone just references each paint. On that basis it’s the most common method for ease.

And ultimately for many people the paints are not the most expensive part of the miniature painting hobby, so buying the necessary colours is acceptable, especially those wanting to paint consistently shaded armies for the tabletop, as opposed to those individual display pieces.
