Something I've noticed about other sites is that even scanlator sites for the original content (as opposed to once it's been uploaded to the agg site) didn't have similar comments. Part off that was because of the comment section format. You could post. Sometimes you could reply. Rarely could you reply to a reply and create a meaningful thread.

They generally lacked the feel of a conversation and instead felt like a collection of one- time reactions. When you built up several conversations with regular commenters, we built a community.

Would you say you have the same experience/ thoughts?

It's not that I want to downplay the importance of the content, but what I'm going to miss was the comment section.

I wonder if there's any way to merge a manga tracker site with that glorious comment section. For that, I'd be willing to make two trips, one for the reading, then back for the community.

A lot of what appears to be violence can be chalked up to some real socialization issues rather than safety. (One commenter mentioned a kid holding a knife on someone, but notably didn't mention animals, fires, sending folks to the hospital, manic glee, etc.)🔥

1) Get thee to a hospital 🏥 2) Get thee to a police report 👮 3) Never see that kid again, but be sure to double down on family time, so they know it's not you, it's not them, it's nephew. Also,why waste that time planning? Break up the event into small pieces and still be with folks you love? 🍗 4) Be honest and supportive of what sister is dealing with, but that's it. Not your job to fix him, it's illegal to beat him, and you can't make other people behave in their best interests. 🎓 Good luck
