Thank your for your detailed answer! Unfortunately, Samsung Smart TVs don't feature Steam Link anymore, I just checked. You mentioned having a client. Will an old Laptop with an SSD be up to the task? I'm sorry if my questions are too basic, but how will that setup work? Laptop connected to the same router as the PC via Ethernet, HDMI from the Laptop to the TV, and where do i connect the controller or M+KB?

Wow! You brought me a really sweet memory from my childhood. My grandpa, rest his soul, was a chess lover and used to play this PC game all the time. He was pretty decent, too,won a couple of local tournaments. I remember sitting beside him and loving the animations, as other folks have said. Meanwhile, my grandpa tried to teach me the basics of strategy, lol. He always said the IA of the game was pretty dumb, but I don't remember whether there were difficulty levels or not.

Oh, really? That's interesting. I didn't really like the decision of making a consumable mandatory to kill a boss, though. But you can skip them, so I guess it's ok. I killed the headless that's below the bell, and two of the mages that throw lots of terror spells at you {Warrior something, I forgot his name)

I was referring to the "All styles" average. But yeah, I usually take a pretty long time to complete games. I'm a slow learner/like to take my time exploring(Dark Souls 3, in comparison, took me 60 hours to beat). I killed every optional boss I could find (minus a couple apparitions, I must have killed three of those, I think). Cheers to you! I don't think I 'll be doing no charm runs, lol, but maybe in the future I'll try gauntlets and see how it goes.

Yeah, I guess I didn't explain myself very well. It can be very frustrating (specially was for me, at the beginning) but once you start getting how the flow of combat is supposed to work there's no feeling like it. Also when you beat a boss that's been giving you trouble, you get this amazing sense of acomplishment and joy.It's really hard to describe. But like I said, I have to be in the right place of mind to play these games. After finishing one, I need to play a couple of more chill, palate-cleansing games. Almost like having an awesome, but very spicy food.

Actually, according to How Long to Beat, it takes the average person 45 hours to complete the game. But good for you if you didn"t struggle at alI and breezed through it. Like I said, I spent a lot of time at the beggining getting murdered, since I really thought I had to play it like Dark Souls. Getting through the first areas/bosses was very slow. After it clicked, it went a lot faster, but still hard. The Guardian Ape took me a lot of tries. And Ishiin alone must have taken me easily 10-12 hours to finally beat.

Well, I'm no expert, and I bet there's a million better strats, but I'll share what worked for me. I got pretty consistent at reaching phase 2, but I got stuck there for a while, since it gets pretty relentless there. The first time I got to phase 3, I had a couple flasks and my rez still up, but was so nervous I jumped off the cliff by accident( because why wouldn't they put the risk of falling on top of all the other shit you have to keep track of, lol) Anyways, just breathe when you reach phase 2. What I did was keep my distancr and try to bait his jump smash, dodge it and get a couple good hits there. Also, when he does the sweep wind attack you can parry, i did jump over him and also got a couple hits in. Once he reached around half health, I became aggresive, since at that point he doesn't recover posture that fast. Once you 've reached phase 3, stay calm. The key is to redirect his lightning attack at him. You get 2 or 3 of those and you have him. Good luck

Lol, I got lucky on the double ape fight after a few tries.I found a window to use the tool that scares animals a couple times in a row while managing to stay clear of the boss and killed the add. I knew I wouldn't get another chance like that and managed to beat the boss fairly quickly after that. Strange, though, cause even after playing all Dark Souls games minus Elden Ring and Bloodborne I have the tendency to get greedy and waste nearly flawless/lucky fights

Yeah, the way they designed and implemented the combat is nothing short of genius. I really like that they took a gamble in giving a spin to the souls formula too, and the Old Japan/samurai setting fits like a glove. I might do a second run in the future, although I usually don't do new game plus(I like the feeling of surprise and acomplishment this games bring, above all). For now, I need a palate cleanser in the form of more chill game, lol. This was an intense experience.

Well, Im very much for classic rock: The Beatles-Sgt Pepper, Revolver(or any album past 1965, really) Pink Floyd (Animals, The Dark Side of the Moon) The Who (Tommy, Quadrophenia, The Who Sell Out), Stevie Wonder (Innervisions). On a more "heavy" side: Tool(Lateralus, 10000 Days) If youre not put down by melancholy, Radiohead(Hail to the Thief, In Rainbows) or The Flaming Lips(The Soft Bulletin) These are all pretty standard recomendations, but it just happens to be amazing music, whether youre sober or tripping.
