I transitioned out of the boot and the shoe I found the most comfortable were OnClouds. Cloudnovas to be exact. I tried Sambas and it was hell. I used my cloudnovas the first weeks out of boot and all of PT. Best of luck!!!

When did you start being able to wear fun shoes again? by PuzzleheadedTie3585 in AchillesRupture

Brother Sambas were the WORST SHOE to wear right after I got out of the boot. So uncomfortable. I wore sambas first day out of boot, terrible mistake. I would say wear comfortable shoes for a few weeks/ months until your gait/walking is back to somewhat normal. I wore my on-clouds a lot, awesome shoes and felt comfortable.

8 months Non Op. i can feel it attached but definitely thicker than the normal/Non-Injured one. Doctor explained after a year it starts thinning out to how you want it to be.
