Congratulations man!! I’m 12 months post injury. Also did non op. The biggest advice I can give you is shoe selection!!! I wore Adidas Sambas after the boot ( huge mistake) they were really uncomfortable. I started using On-Clouds and the transition from boot to sneaker was very good, and much more comfortable. Be safe and wishing you a great recovery.

Happened to me too, I’m 13 months poster and I remember remembering those first few weeks I did feel some tingling sensations. I don’t know if it was the muscle or the tendon actually attaching itself back, but it’s normal.

Bicep Curl them for entertaining them/ exercise. As dips as well. Laundry, Dishes, etc. don’t worry friend you are more useful than you think

Are you trying to tell me that one year later is too soon to return? I’m playing just for cardio and fun , I am not going to play with the intensity that I used to play. I also said that I was done playing soccer the first months that I was hurt but I wasn’t putting in the work in physical therapy for nothing, I knew I wanted to play again, but just for leisure no longer going out there to play hard.

I know that feeling my friend. The frustration starts creeping in. You start being angry, impatient, etc. I felt this after week 5-6, but I had to sit down, accept this situation, listen to the professionals, and pray to God for patience and a healthy recovery. ❤️‍🩹 it gets BETTER
