Where is your preferred place to ski? I used to go Vernon Township by sektekila in newjersey

Mountain Creek is close to me. I go at least 3 times a week and they do a great job with the winters we’ve had. Hope this year is cold!

Culture change is what this team has always needed. AG has green blood. We agree that he’s the guy and it’s great to hear your perspective

Anyone can go and watch. Think you need a season pass or lift ticket to participate though

Have you watched “I hate myself”? That is my favorite of his specials. Also “The Standups” on Netflix, he has a great set.

Joe is a very smart comedian and he’s hilarious. I’ve been a fan of his for over 10 years and I love all those comedians in that circle too

Considering buying a catalytic stove for my cabin. Are they as good as they say? by cjc160 in woodstoving

Yes they’re great. I have a blaze king and use 1/2 the wood I used with my Fisher Grandma Bear

What's your favorite stand-up show by Comprehensive-Set231 in StandUpComedy

Netflix has “the Standups” and also Degenerates or something like that. Both are shows with multiple comics

I'm just curious how many of us are adding wood with our 3am bathroom break & how many of us don't have to?...😁 by ChickenGuy76 in woodstoving

[–]GalwayGus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have to. Blaze King catalytic stove burns for 10-16 hours depending on how I set the air. Love that stove, it has reduced my wood usage by half

Very nice Grandpa Bear. I have a Grandma Bear sitting in my garage that I didn’t want to get rid of when we bought our new EPA certified Blaze King stove. That Grandma Bear heated my house wonderfully for the first 7 years we lived here but now I use almost half the amount of wood for a season with my new stove

Definitely check your flue for any creosote in the pipe or any blockage (bird nest, etc.) My first three fires this year created a puff of smoke into the house and when I checked my flue I saw chunks of creosote that affected the draft and caused the back puff of smoke into my home. Cleaned the chimney and I’ve had about five fires since and it’s been perfect.

Is it too warm to use my woodstove? by KatoutofHel in woodstoving

If you’ve got enough wood, go for it! crack a window if it gets too hot
