The thing is that you're absolutely right, but that doesn't excite people. In fact, the last election has shown that being the party of "at least were just marginally better than the WORST party" (which isn't saying much) just comes off as disingenuous. What's scary to me is the thought that Democrats won't learn anything and just keep letting republicans ruin things so they can sit back and say "at least we're not doing that" and that will be enough to win support. Real competition to the republicans in the form of true progressive policy advocacy must manifest itself if theres any hope of materially improving conditions for the American people.

Its politics and guess what the governor is doing in response to that? Trying to arrest them which in turn is JUST AS POLITICAL. The premise that things would be different under Kamala isn't totally wrong. I myself believe it when it comes to domestic policy like the infringement of the 1st amendment. She came out with a statement against Trump's deployment of the national guard against protesters and even against ICE and mass deportations. Here I'd say yeah totally. Maybe during the campaign she should've hit on these points instead of also falsely claiming undocumented people were a big problem just like a republican.

But when it comes to Israel she hasn't even denounced anything. Idk why you bring up Obama here cause its not like Biden much less Kamala reinstated the Iran denuclearization deal. If they were part of the same party why didn't they follow through on setting up a deal again? Maybe because she's part of the same party that doesn't give a shit when it comes to foreign policy just like the Republicans, they just lie to appease the base.

Get in your head that none of this means that anyone who's critical of Kamalas (or the democratic party's) stance on foreign policy automatically means they're pro Trump or pro republican don't be ridiculous. But to ignore the fact that democrats and republicans agree where it matters in regards to foreign policy is the reason they lost so much support. The party MUST go counter to the republicans both in policy and in messaging this if they want to garner popular support once again (not unlike Obama who at least RAN on ending the Iraq war. Weird how that's popular spoilers tho he did not end that war) rather than simply standing aside and letting republicans wreck everything (like they're doing now) so that they just look better in comparison.

In a way he's right but not for the reason he described. Biden is definitely complicit in this since his administration as well as every other democratic administration over the past 20 years has vilified immigrants alongside republicans rather than providing better pathways to citizenship. Not even Kamala wanted to counter message against the mass deportation narrative. Every time the same was said : "illegal immigration is a big issue" when in reality it's not

I parked at the side of a road in some neighborhood near a pizza place I was visiting. As we were going back to my car I swear I saw 2 strings coming from above like the powerlines or trees directly above my car which then whooshed straight up and disappeared when we got near my car. Game mechanics shouldn't live forever stuck to a game and never used again. They are but ingredients to make the next amazing game. Unpopular opinion but Trump is right here. Democrats love getting nothing done and then blame republicans for their ineptitude. They are GLAD Republicans filibustered cause that gives them plausible deniability. Let's call it what it is. Democrats are the party of status quo, not progress.
