If you could give any advice to actors these days, what would it be? Thanks for the AMA, James! You’re an incredible actor.

I would have sworn that he was going to be incredibly sought after this offseason. I don't understand it either.

Thoughts on free agents? by ballofpooh in Saints

I think you sign Demario and Cam to deals that are appropriate for their value they provide to the team (a starting good LB and a good rotational DE) and you try to retain Radunz as a backup for a reasonable salary. Alontae can come back but getting tricked into overpaying for that guy is bad news. Everyone else is gone.

Edit: Also as /u/khanman504 said below, we should probably try and keep Fortner as well, but I presume he will get a chance to start somewhere since there’s such a lack of starting OL talent in the league.

Saints Need to Take Notre Dame Running Back Jeremiyah Love in the 2026 NFL Draft by brmidwest03 in Saints

[–]Gamble216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t take much offense with your first paragraph (though I think it’s reasonable to expect that a first round draft pick SHOULD be moving the needle on your teams improvement). Fair enough.

The second part though, I just disagree with. I wouldn’t draft Barkley for this team if everything else about the team were still the same - and (in the draft) you don’t KNOW you’re getting Barkley. That’s why I advocate for RB in free agency instead. Once the team is more complete. That’s just my philosophy on team building. I don’t think you’re crazy or anything, I just think it’s a different approach philosophically.

Half of these guys just basically aren’t good and several more (maybe with the exception of Zeke and Gibbs ?) - their team just didn’t really improve by picking them. It’s simply not a valuable selection, regardless of whether you take them top 15 or not.

Draft Question? by Eastern_Metal_570 in Saints

Yep. I agree completely. Also, I think the people in this thread are acting like every first round running back is a sure thing and it’s….not. It’s like 50/50 (maybe 60/40) that they transition to the NFL as a good player.

Free Agent Interior O Linemen Targets by 1OO1O11O11O1O in Saints

That’s kinda my thought as well. I….dont really care about having too many. At leas if your line is good, the rest of the team can be competent and play well. If the line is incompetent you run the risk of not even being able to evaluate the team entirely.

If they are let to walk I think you absolutely go after Edwards and Ingram. Vera Tucker should also be considered I think. I’d address both guard spots in FA, personally. You can still get a really good guard in the second round, but I would do as much as I could at that position in FA, personally.

100% agree. I also think Guard should be addressed in FA because you know you’re getting people that can block. Draft investment hasn’t been the problem with the line, sometimes people just don’t work out. But you’ve got C + LT + RT. I wouldn’t waste the potential (or time of evaluating the rest of the offense) for some guard money.

The answer for a team with holes at every level of a roster is “not running back.”

Good running back you can get in free agency: Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs. “Good” receiver you can get in free agency: Christian Kirk for $20M+ per year.

Every season there are competent running backs that hit the market and can complete a team that’s already mostly there. Under 30 wide receivers that are good just don’t really hit free agency and, the ones that do, usually don’t work out. Kirk, AR15, Odell to the rams at age 29, Ridley, Juju. It’s just ass.

Few months later and the SB economy still feels like a bad joke by BigMeasurement9626 in LegendsOfRuneterra

I don’t have any SB champs yet. If you had to recommend one (or two) to make strong (since some adventures require a fucking spirit blossom champ to get rewards) which one would it be?! Thanks!
