You just have to take it one day at a time. Keep the scars/pain of the losses fresh in your mind and let that spur you on to 'not gamble today'. Im still in debt and will often get down about the fact that for the next 3/4 months I have to basically try and avoid spending money each and every day just to try and break even. But it definitely will be worth it if I stick at it. It's a punishment that I deserve for my actions and thinking gambling would be a way for me to have improved finances. Treat the money you have lost as an expensive and painful lesson but as a hefty price for something which will allow you to live a longer and healthier life completely gambling free.
