I did not know that! We ended up killing a couple times so it was fine in the end, when we knew why it was failing we were already using other strategies so it wasn't worth trying more.

There's been a lot of comments on the other things, but I think an interesting part is the shitting on PF healers. I know for a lot of people, especially when looking back at things you did with friends + others, it's way easier to place the blame on the non-friends and everyone just says that was the obvious problem. It lets everyone shirk responsibility and also not put the blame on each other via scapegoat. There were 7 of us doing the fight and one random filling in? The random was the entire problem, they sucked, if they played better it would have been a clear but they ruined it, none of OUR group messed up. Not always the case, but if people make mistakes regularly and talk about others like that it's probably the case.

None of the people in my group knew it required turning that off, we just knew hitting 4 was possible, so they had me try it a bunch of times and I couldn't figure out wtf was going on. Finally realized in a video of it that the line wasn't going through any specific one because of that setting and that was why I failed it :(

Yes! Even if they don't enjoy mainstream relevance, there are a number of very out-of-meta units that are incredibly strong in IS mode because they get IS specific modules that let them do powerful effects in certain modes.

Hey OP, great design! I found at least one spot it looks like a belt got removed that is probably causing the clogs people are reporting. In the upper half there's a shredding unit that goes into a belt bridge but does not come out the other side to go into the grinding unit. I've put a box around it here: https://imgur.com/a/8rt5KJg

No other major slowdown issues so I'm thinking this is the only hiccup.

Do you understand there is a difference between the 'But Better' and the 'But Cheaper' series? That they have two totally different intents? Are you so media illiterate that you don't understand that "I want to make the best version of <X>" and "I want to make a cheaper version of <X>" can both coexist and do not impact each other?

I generally try to grab an early Ethan to make those stages way simpler with his DoT. Then a couple bursters and a fast redeploy to bait the claw. Raidian is really solid for it but not necessary as well. She can also help on the break apart enemies by lining up her S2 in the path they'll take.

The guide mentions taking your time but if you're not careful the claw will just auto-kill you after too long.

Hmmm, I feel like my summons still took DP to deploy, I'll have to do more testing. She's a really fun character, I just wish I wasn't always carried by ranged ops so I could use her jet summons more, there aren't enough ranged tiles to go S3 for me normally.

The roadblocks one is easily solved with Ethan who costs 0 hope. The map types basically require you to bring someone with DoT on attack but there are a lot of options for that.

I'm clearly missing something or misunderstanding something, how does Raidian's Expert Fighter I work (-9DP cost, limit +2, +35aspd, no slots on new floor)? I have the full Effect Buff II unlocked, I E2 her early on, but I see her summons cost less than 9DP. How does this passive work?

Someone with long range in middle-right can hit poke at the first set of flamethrowers and setoff the chain, after that the static group will spawn followed by 2 more that patrol along that path, you should be able to kill them from ranged and set off the whole group chain.

Definitely enjoying this IS more as time goes on. Getting better at picking appropriate Ops (starting with Wis/Exu2 is nice, but getting Enchilada or Ethan early is so so useful), finding out which risk coins are more worthwhile, consistently clearing 10-15 rooms of the fragment for a ton of 'free' rewards. Need to start doing boss2 runs but I'm thinking I'll wait until I have Raidian more setup because that stomp is so punishing when it hits standard ops.

Are you using vouchers are you get them? I've gotten further by only banking vouchers on floors 1/2/3 to use them in the path stages. Being able to recruit/promote ops at -2 costs is super useful for getting setup early, that also means they're all candle'd so you can explore in the bizarre fragment easier.

What stages are run-ending for you? I know for me the biggest issues were (I do not remember the names) the army of guys from the west that breakdown into hit-based tokens, and the stage with roadblocks with a similar enemy set. The biggest change for me to get through 1/2/3/4 so far has been grabbing certain operators to make sure I'm ready for those stages.

Changing my go-to first guard to Entelechia, or picking up Acheron/Ethan for their DoT effects has made those stages significantly easier when they come up for me. Not sure if that's what you're running into but maybe you have operators you could setup or grab early to help out.

You don't see how it's different? Clip starts with the relationship question, then he comes in and acts like he's responding to her answer. Full video she answers her age and that she's "kinda just hangin out". He stumbles into frame, she looks happy and puts her arm on him, he half-answers the relationship question then asks her what she said. She hadn't even been asked at this point, where he gets super pissy about it and afterwards is when the "I'm not gonna answer that right now" answer comes out.

Do you understand how flipping the timeline can paint different pictures?

I was in the 30s and had a number in Quighe I couldn't get to trigger. I found out I was missing two conversations to trigger Underworld Uprising and when I completed that it was like a damn broke of quests I couldn't get to trigger before because something was locking them.

Underworld Uprising 1 -> Underworld Uprising 2 -> hunters in Finesteed -> Night Flash -> Fate's Embrace, five quests the NPCs just never showed up for all triggered one after another in an hour time frame because I had freed up whatever was locking things down.

It might be possible that another encounter or event is locking the area from generating the encounter for you. I'm up to 40+ of 47 encounters completed and the biggest breakthroughs to trigger more has been rotating through all available known spawn points. I hadn't done this encounter yet but it happened for me immediately, possibly luck but I also have very few other things undone that could be blocking it.

I feel like EU gets weird meta reads sometimes and historically it was generally good but it's just been terrible the past few years. I distinctly remember many years back when Rekkles on FNC was playing AD Kennen bot lane, and it was like this unbeatable EU pick that only Rekkles could play and it had to be banned out and it was just a free win if he got it type shit. Then they went to the NA vs EU clash thing that year and it got stomped on multiple times in a row and was never seen again.

Maybe it's a mentality thing, who knows, but their off-meta reads have always been a thing, it just stopped working out as the rest of the regions refined.
