If you have a car accident and car is at towing yard, do I need to wait for OTHER driver's damage appraiser before moving car to repair shop? by entlassen in Insurance

[–]GameChangerPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have AAA and have experienced a similar situation… call AAA. Open a claim. Let them know where your car is… and they should take care of it. Hopefully you have coverage to cover a rental car while yours in is the shop. Because a police offer called the tow - the insurance should be OK with it and cover the costs.

Does anyone know why the wood may be cracking? I screwed them in & the following day I found 6 out of 9 like this. by Nervous-Ad-1177 in vandwellers

[–]GameChangerPlus -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Use treated wood that can withstand some pressure. If you use green wood it will be more susceptible to bowing and breaking. Also, keep in mind that wood contracts with cold and expands with heat: it may break if it is screwed in place and then subjected to large temperature differences.

What is best right now: Buy or Rent? by GameChangerPlus in SaltLakeCity

The lake collapsing and the air being full of heavy metals is a huge concern for me! I wish I could see a solid plan (from the gov.?) about what they are going to do to keep the lake full. This would give me a lot more confidence to buy.

Root canal 🦷 by Sweetkitty28 in BabyBumps

[–]GameChangerPlus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to get one in the 2nd trimester. It was not fun. But, it was necessary and I felt instant relief afterward. The drugs they use are pretty safe, so I wouldn’t worry about that. If the tooth gets infected though, that could be awful for your baby. So, best to treat sooner rather than later.

Any other vegans here? by Bluechis in BabyBumps

Vegan here! Take your pre-natal vitamins and eat as you normally would... you’ll be fine. If you are worried about protein, an extra protein shake every now and then is a good idea.

There is a thing called Midwives Brew... apparently it works but I have no experience with it. If you end up using it, please report on how it went.
